rck and nelson can't even defend this

can they
Thomas was a ballhog who played no defense and didn't get along with teammates behind the scenes (I'm not a big Collison fan, but Kings are better off without Thomas)

I'm not sold on Josh Smith. But #1, he will be playing his natural position on the Kings, not SF like he was in Detroit.  #2, they will probably be able to get rid of some of their crap contracts like Jason Thompson or Carl Landry, so if they can do that, it's worth a shot.   and from the rumors i've seen, they aren't really gonna give up much to get Smith

ESPN sources say Pistons and Kings on hunt for a third team to help facilitate deal but Sacramento continues to express interest in Smith

at this point I will take this>>>>> whatever **** hodge podge players we have.

thats right, Josh Smith> **** hodge podge players.

I said it.

Hell, I would take Jennings and Jerebko too if we could dump Thompson, Jet, Landry, Williams, Outlaw.

I ran it thru the trade machine and it worked

Kings front office def smoking on something the last 12 years
front office and ownership changed in the last 13ish months.... keep up

Lol at the dude who called Noah and Nick Young cornballs.
Noah's that dude,
Young is definitely Cobbed up though

Josh Smith is a very good player when he stays away from the long jumpers.

He just needs the right coach. Maybe Mike Malone is that guy.

I understand anyone who says WTF at a front office wanting Josh Smith. But then i ask you to please look over the Kings roster and tell me you see one guy on there you would rather have starting at the PF than Josh Smith.............

So he's never been a very good player
Woodson got him to stop taking the long jumpers, & unsurprisingly he shot 50%. You add that with his rebounding & defense & he was very good that season. He took less than 10 threes the whole season. I loved him that year.

But I gotta remember most people don't watch the Hawks. I probably wouldn't either if I didn't live here.

Just giving you a hard time.

And tbh, I think I speak for most Kings fans when I say we have no idea what the front office is doing

you guys almost dethroned Kobe and Shaq, those were some good teams man, CWebb, Bibby, Peja, Christie....

To me this seems a lot like when the Kings traded a bunch of turds for Rudy Gay and everyone's reaction was "why would they want that overpaid inefficient guy?" and then he ended up playing really efficient with the Kings. A change of scenery can be big for some guys. Especially a guy being played out of his position like Smith. If the Kings can throw away a bunch of bench guys for Smith, why not?

He's never been a very good player. He had one year where he stopped shooting 3's but other than that he's always been such an enigma. Defensively he's solid (overrated IMO) but solid. Classic case of stats not telling the whole story, dude can be invisible for long stretches.

either way he's still better than Carl Landry, Jason Thompson, Reggie Evans, Derrick Williams, and Quincy Acy

Ehh, you only really parted with Grevis but at the same time all of that efficiency didn't seem to help them much in the win department. So even if he was more efficient it sort of loses its luster when you see how it was a cluster****. I tend not to take what a player does statistically too seriously when the team is a dumpster fire.

The fact that Smith is owed 13.5 this year, next year and the year after should stop all GM's from trying to acquire him no matter what you currently have at the position
