Now your just sprewing nonsense. You know nothing of Agent Zero's legendary work outs. Dude was in the gym ALL DAY EVERYDAY. Why you think he got so much better? Just off of talent? No, dude put in Work at Verizon and GMU. Get out of here with that no hard work nonsense. Let me guess, your source is a bleacher report article?
I'm saying

Had to stop reading at not a hard worker.

Arenas' work ethic >

Maturity and leadership ? Maybe lacking but he definitely worked hard. Injuries ruined his career

Rumor is they had to make gilbert stop shooting in the summer because he was damaging his elbow from all the reps.

He earned that money

Didn't Lute Olsen tell him he had 0 chance of ever being a pro? Gil came a long way man. Wanna call him out for his tomfoolery that's fine but hibachi worked hard.

it was either college or high school coach. someone told him that and that's why he wears 0. don't remember who.

Edit: found it

“Zero is the number of minutes people predicted I would play my freshman year at Arizona,” said Arenas, who played ended up playing 32.1 minutes per game in his first season as a Wildcat. “I decided to go with it because I love proving people wrong.”

SO we never had a scorer like KD before?

ight

not saying KD isnt good. im just saying that people are only going even more crazy over it because hes 6'11" and slim doing things a guy that tall shouldnt be.

KD is god like, not taking a thing away from him

just me tho
Look at KD's efficiency though. How many other guys lead the league in scoring, while shooting or approaching 50/40/90 though?

Gotta love that depth of the Cavs team (if they sign Ray as well). Marion, Miller and Ray are still good role players and I would take them over a lot of the guys Lebron had on his previous Cleveland teams. What a lot of people seem to forget is how the frontline is much more respectable than anything Lebron had in his career. Love, Varejao and Thompson is a legit 3 man rotation up front. Adding Marion to play small ball 4 at times also helps. I never remember Bron having a frontcourt better than that.

If they fail, same people who gave praise to marion, miller, and ray(maybe love/and or kyrie too) are gonna make the same attempts to brutalize them

Why not withhold judgement till the season starts

I expect them to fail (as I mentioned several times). Its not going to be because of their role players IMO, though. It will be due to the inexperience of Love and Kyrie in the playoffs. That doesn't change the fact that those 3 veterans are not good role players. I watched Miller played every single game last season and looked GOOD for the most part. He stepped up big come playoff time and was averaging over 20 minutes a night during the season. I know he still got it. I also know Marion still got it. Ray may be the weaker of the 3 at this point.

If the Cavs do fail to win a title, the blame will be placed everywhere. From Lebron, to Kyrie being a "bum", to Love being a "bum", the role players "suck". You know how NT likes to go over board with ****. Its the same thing when OKC loses a series. As soon as something goes wrong, its "trade Westbrook" or "Brooks sucks", "they don't have enough depth". All the negatives come out when something goes wrong, but no one says anything when they are winning.

Yea I just don't like watching people build themselves up for disappointment. Cause after they are wrong they go to blaming the people they made confidence in

It's a new season every season, you never know what type of player comes out of that offseason till they rise or decline

I can understand making an prediction of the post season judging off the play in the regular season, but I don't like watching people make sorry excuses for being wrong even before the pre-season

Too many overzealous fans fall victim, it's funny but tragically reoccurring

but brooks does suck though.. you of all the non-okc fans on this board should know this.. and the depth issue coincides with brooks' suckyness

People still want to trade Westbrook after he has a triple double and we win a game by 30, still want to claim KD doesn't get the ball enough after he leads the league in scoring however many times. That said, whether we win or not, Brooks DOES suck, and depth is or has been a problem, combined with his (mis)management of the depth i.e playing old, ineffective vets way too many minutes

If and when the OKC title window closes, people are going to look back on this (theyre starting to already) and flame a few key people to death.

At some point you have to realize that maybe these guys don't mesh well together? I've said this once and I'll say it again--OKC will always have offensive issues during big playoff games, as long as Westbrook and Durant are both on the team.

Too often you'll see them in a half-court set and either Westbrook or Durant will have the ball. Then next thing you know, you see a stupid perimeter shot go off with 3 seconds left on the clock.

OKC wins a TON of games in the regular season, but IDK how they can sustain this throughout the playoffs. Especially when they go up against better half-court teams.

The Scott Brooks argument has been beaten like a dead horse. Some of you guys are in denial. Westbook and Durant don't go well together. Eventually their cap space is going get filled with just these two guys, and then who will OKC surround them with? Age isn't the concern for OKC's window closing, it's really the money. Especially when Ibaka will want to get paid as well.

Yes, Brooks does suck. :lol

At this point, I'm not quite sure about the depth OKC has. They have a lot of young talent on paper, but whether PJ3 and Lamb will be high quality role players is another story. It still remains to be seen. Speaking of OKC, what's the deal with Reggie's future?

I should clarify, it wasnt a reference to the team being "too old" to do anything, but moreso that come 2017 I fear we may not see the same roster. I hope I'm wrong. I dont want to see this thing break up, I have zero issues with the Russy/KD dynamic, but whats gonna happen when Reggie starts demanding money? Will Russ leave? Will KD? These are all things that scare me.
