This is so true.

Everyone on NT is hyping up this kid, but I wonder how many people actually watched him play last year. Unless they live in New Orleans or have League Pass, I don't buy people hyping up AD because of what they see/saw.

I'm thinking this is all spewed off of what ESPN is shoving down readers throats.
I'd agree to an extent but are you forgetting that advanced statistics support the AD lovefest? Also, AD is currently dominating FIBA.

People talk all this AD talk but how many will watch him play this season let along last season
About the same # of people that still care about the Lakers.
This is funny.

The Lakers are coming off their worst season since moving to Los Angeles, winning only 27 games while All-Star guard Kobe Bryant sat out all but six with multiple injuries.

Despite a miserable campaign, the Lakers were the most profitable franchise in the NBA -- by a large margin.

According to a memo distributed to teams by the NBA, the Lakers project to earn a $158.3-million profit for the 2013-14 season, before tax and revenue sharing.

The Chicago Bulls, second on the list, earned less than half that amount, at $75.7 million. The Clippers were seventh at $30.4 million.
Guess what? People still care.

Exactly.

Just whole lot of SportCenter watchers. I know I have the luxury to watch dude play on TV or go to the arena. Lets see what everyone as to say if the Pelicans not making noise or injuries happen. Still think we can make the playoffs and are better than the Rockets

I'm thinking if a lot of people were "Sportscenter watchers", it would be guys like Melo, Griffin, Lebron, KD and CP3 receiving all of the hype :lol . I don't watch Sportscenter much, but one of those 5 guys are always on there whenever I watch. Even Love gets a lot of hype.

So, I'm not sure how hyping AD means you watch a lot of ESPN :lol .

Lakers about to have more nationally televised games than games won last year. That's insane :lol

I guess Lakers fans are just loyal like that

Went from Anthony Davis will make the leap to top 5 next year to he can't be a number one option. NT: No middle ground only extremes

Jrue & AD can be the best 1-2 punch for the next 5-7 yrs

But i dont see AD being a #1 option in this league
Seeing Jrue holiday and best anything in the same sentence makes my stomach churn.
If AD retained any ballhandling skills from his younger days it'd be scary.

Hard to believe that he played pg in hs, because I can't see it. His ballhandling is basic

AD got off last season so I can't be mad at the hype

I know most yall aint watching most teams unless they're on national tv

Is FIBA better than the NBA though? I'd put it in the middle of college and NBA.

Especially this Wiggins hype/Cavs made a mistake talk

Y'all really gotta chill with the AD hype man. Swore this was the EXACT same thing as last week.

He's not better than Blake right now. I think y'all sleep on Blake's potential actually. Of course AD potential is through the roof. But Blake is already a top 8 player...with potential to be top 3 himself.

I just wanna sit back and enjoy AD develop. Should be fun to watch.

For you art types...

This is from the Basketball Art Exhibition in Taipei, Taiwan. It’s a statue of naked Kobe apparently trying to shoot a lay-up/floater while battling and being fouled by a black mamba snake. For the record, the snake is biting Kobe in the Achilles, which is one of his recent injuries.

the snake may or may not have also conspired to trade him from the Charlotte Hornets.
