I remember reading he was a guard growing up too and he never really seems like he handles the ball like that

Nerlens Noels loves to use his handle and i remember watching him run the break in highschool, and in summer league i saw him display his ball handling still

Brian Roberts was getting minutes over Rivers last season, I have no faith in his game through 2 years sorry, he's not getting significant minutes on a playoff contending team in the west.


EG is not a #1 option at this point, will he look off AD? Probably, but he's in no way more efficient getting buckets than AD and there's no way I allow that if I'm their coach.

I'm running screen action with AD basically all day with Jrue and Reke as ball handlers, spread the floor with EG/Anderson and call it a day.

I'm not commenting on this topic through the perspective of what should be done, just saying what will most likely play out:

1. Austin Rivers is still going to get minutes

2. Eric Gordon will still be the #1 option, still chuck up a ton of shots and regularly not look for AD

Rivers was still getting plenty of minutes last year:

April: 30 minutes a game

March: 23 minutes a game

FEB: 20 minutes a game

JAN: 20 minutes a game

Again, who's going to take his minutes? Russ Smith, Jimmer? Rivers still gonna be out there at least 15 minutes per
