The 2 seasons the Nets went to the finals the East was weak. Don't try to pretend like those teams you mentioned were all elite at the exact same time.

That Reggie team was on it's last legs by the way. The Detroit dynasty hadn't even really begun. We talking about the years the Lakers won the finals the 2nd or 3rd time and the Spurs winning it's 2nd championship since '99. Refresh your memory by looking at the rosters or something of those seasons.

Also what Detroit dynasty? How many finals did they win again? How many finals appearances did they have again? Don't forget to mention what seasons they did it either. Dudes is rewriting history now. I'm talking about the 2 seasons the Nets went to the finals in that weak East.

Aint no way I'm buying the idea that JKidd is a better 3pt shooter than CP or a few other clearly better players cuz with this same argument you can say Kidd is a better 3pt shooter than KD and Curry.

In my argument I'm not belittling what Kidd did at his best. He was amazing. A great floor general and passer, good defense as well (and if he had at least one other star player during those 3 years the Nets window was open he might have 2 rings now). This is why it's an argument.

If ppl would prefer Kidd in his prime over CP3 I wouldn't mind it like it was some huge slight. I just think it'd be the wrong choice and Paul is way better.

I don't know if this is posted, but according to Marc Stein, the Love/ Wiggins trade will include the following:

Cavs: Love
Twolves: Wigging, Thad Young, Bennett
Sixers: Luc Mbah a Moute, Alexey Shved & Future 1st round pick

I am kind of disappointed by the sixers, I feel like they could have gotten more for Thad. They did shop him around for some time so maybe this was the best offer they got. I don't know what will the Twolves do with Young though. He needs to go to a contender and allow Bennett to cook!
