Seems like there's this notion that the Grizzlies don't need ZBO.. Just add a damn wing player for Christ sake. It's the only thing you've ever needed to do. The one thing.

i think he got the loyalty extension honestly. their offense is so much more efficient without him pounding the ball 15 times and everyone standing and watching him.

Deng actually fits that team perfectly
It would be interesting to see the Grizz get Deng or Marion. Not sure how realistic those two are though as options. I'd also like to see them get more of a shooter too, that's not named Mike Miller although he did pretty good for them.. someone a bit more lively.

outside of the obvious stars, the players i'm most curious about in free agency:

Lance Stephenson - who the hell makes a substantial offer? he's got all the talent, but he's a headcase.

Eric Bledsoe - he's getting a max offer from someone, and Phoenix is matching. possible sign and trade with minny for Kevin Love?

Greg Monroe - i'd like to see him stay and work under SVG, but i also want him far away from josh smith and brandon jennings. Pistons gotta match his offers too.

Chandler Parsons - obvious reasons

Anthony Morrow - i want him in a rockets uniform.

20, 5, 5, isn't easy to average.. some guys touch that once in their careers and the rest of the players to hit that statline are elite players or future HOFers. Just because Deng doesn't hit some arbitrary statline doesn't mean he sucks... that's just asinine. People aren't annoyed at your criticism of Deng.. it's that you criticized him for not being a Top 5 player

or averaging 20, 5, 5

which is absurdly high standards on whether or not someone "sucks"
to me, deng had the potential to be that top 5 top 10 player at one time

he just never improved, so to me he sucks because of that

20, 5 and 5 is a high standard, but i think when you're selected in the lottery theyre supposed to be.

if 16 & 6 to 20 & 5 is the difference between "solid" and elite then to me he def underachieved.

but this is all my opinion so we'll all just agree to disagree.

Fully want Trey and Exum to flourish as a compatible back court. Favors and Kanter continue growing as post threats. Not to mention Gobert's development.

Gobert is a wild card, if they can develop him correctly they're just going to have a silly amount of young talent/assets.

That length and wingspan. Immediate impact defensively. He's the Greek Freak of European centers.

I'm glad Corbin gave him burn. 45 games, 10 MPG. Fair for an international rookie transition.

I'm watching Orlando in the East and Utah in the West.
If Orlando had Exum I could see what you mean but they don't. In the long run for the east I see the Raptors,Wizards,Cavs,Hornets, Pacers and maybe the Bulls determining who comes out the east.

Orlando could be in a good position, but they went from trying to land their superstar via the draft.. to needing to sign him in FA or trade for him. If they landed Wiggins or Parker then they'd be set.. but unfortunately, they just missed it.

Payton, Oladipo, Gordon, Vucevic.. then throw in a couple of their other young guys who could develop into solid rotation players... now you just need your veteran superstar.

Problem with Orlando is that their biggest missing piece is a SF. Which outside of a real good/great five, there is a huge dropoff after.
