they should stiff wade for melo.....but that nba loyalty
laugh.gif

if this was the nfl his *** would be gone

Disagree. People overestimate everything he has done. Its all wade and the city itself. Riley just gets the credit.

Wade convinced bosh and lebron to come. To Riley to free u cap space. Then ring chasing vets come to a warm city with no income tax.

Can't say players are taking their careers into their own hands and then create the illusion of Riley being a genius. Them AAU boys just wanna have fun and stack the deck in a crap confrence. You can applaud them for winning just don't pretend it's anything else. :lol

Church.

personally think it's unfair for bosh to take less......wade is the one who needs to take a huge pay cut if he wants to stay. He sat half the damn season and then ran out of gas in the playoffs :{

the loyalty past your prime is exactly what Klinnsman was talking about :lol  ......only in the nba

alot of people took issue with that, but he hit the nail on the head...

5 mil a year is more than enough. The guy plays half of the regular season and then his knees give out right before or during the Finals. If I'm Riley, I offer him that and hope he walks.

I still don't get the conspiracy theories on this.

The biggest inclination that they are all staying is Haslem opting out. Haslem can get 2 years 10 Mil from a team????? hell no. He left $5 million on the table so Bron can get MAX????? please, Even if it is Bosh, Wade, and Bron, they will use the money for a Center and PG (even with Napier) to get them back to the level they need to be. They are making it work for the team. People read way too much into it. Bron does not need max. Not saying he does not deserve it but he makes up for it in all those endorsements. They are doing this to complete the starting five and have a younger/ Veteran once superstar bench.

if Haslem opted in, I would of been a little worried if I was a Heat fan.

They're not giving up money they are just just taking less per year but signing for more money total.

The fact that Wade, Bosh, and Haslem all opted out speaks volumes to what the Heat are trying to accomplish IMO it also to me proves that they are doing this cohesively and together.

Bosh knows he won't get as much in the open market. Wade definitely does know this as well. So for them (along with Haslem) to opt out knowing that that means getting less money, (Not to mention this is their last "big" payday) to me signifies that they are all in as far as trying to "retool" this team and making sure that they not only get to the finals, but get over the hump that is the western conference. Like i've said before, I would not be surprised if Bron doesn't get a max deal (or doesn't take a max deal). From their actions, it seems like they have all agreed on doing what it takes to make the Heat a championship caliber team.

Yes , in theory they would be taking less per year to make more but all three have options to continuously have one year deals they could have salaries like Kobe if they wanted too and just have the heat pay the luxury tax.

They are choosing to scrap their deals, have longer ones, and be paid x amount. they were making 20 mill each with bron making more then Wade and Bosh by .2.......... They are now looking at signing deals about five million less to start or so (An estimate) to sign other guys. Melo is a pipe dream/ Lowry and Gortart or Gasol as starters, fully possible with what the four are doing with room for a bench .

No one gives Bosh enough credit. He could lead a team and did. Just because you sacrificed your game to make everyone around you better does not mean he is the weak link. Bosh could probably get what he will get with Heat in the re-up. And I am not a Bosh fan by any means.
