Heat are all opting out only to have other teams blow up their roster trying to get them. Then, they're going to stay and restructure. Basically doing the same thing in 2010...just a different way. Teams are going to be a step behind thinking they had a chance to get them.

Meanwhile, other decent players are going to get tired of waiting and the level of talent will be more spread out. God...I hate the Heat. :lol

That's my theory.

LeBron isn't going West. He doesn't want to deal with them all season...Clippers/Thunder/Spurs/Warriors/Rockets and whoever else may arise from the current dominant teams. Him and the loaded Heat can continue beating on teams barely above .500 and smooth sail to the Finals, as usual.

$55M in cap space now. The hard cap is expected to rise another 5 to 7 million.

Welcome to the NBAAU. :{

No man. It's pretty clear they're all staying in Miami, aint no teams gonna mess up again by clearing out their rosters to try and sign them.. especially not Wade or Bosh

So Miami would be left with like 5-8mil? Depending on what they pay Haslem?

if that

so where is the retool?

Bosh or Wade are the odd men out.

with pat riley talking about Wade being a Heat for life. im expecting them to offer him a smaller contract and its either he takes it or not. hes a handicap. Riley would be an idiot to give Wade what he wants.

When did lebron say he wanted the max?

He never explicitly said it but most believe his team is pushing for that. IMO he's going to shock everyone by not taking the Max, with an incentive that him not taking the max will result in the Heat being able to get better.

How much 2K has Broussard been playing lately? Cause he is extremely adamant about this sign & trade Harden for Melo & signing Lebron fantasy :lol :lol he has been the lone person pushing that

Wade plan fine up in till the finals what do you mean? That's why it was so surprising in his decline one series after he played so well against indy

Pretty sure it had something to do with playing against a good team......

I believe it was he knees all swelled up and ish. Thank Lance for going at his knees(kidding).
I got bum knees from a motorcycle accident. I can go hard for a week, then I need couple weeks rest to even rotate on them quickly. And I'm a scrub

I don't think they planned it, LeBron opted out with the quickness and basically said 'follow my lead or else I'm gonna bounce'. I'm positive they all discussed it after LeBron opted out though so it's not like they all are doing this with no contact.

Dude its been planned since 07-08...Trust me, these dude and Riley know exactly what they are doing.

Its like thinking they just so happened to team up in 2010....Yea sure, like that went planned

So if they can't get Melo to go to Miami, is Miami going forward with pretty much the same team? James, Bosh, and the shell of Wade

Wade, Bosh, and Bron will all 3 be back in South Beach next season.

I honestly don't think anyone in the league will be interested in Wade for the money he's going to command.

Bosh isn't a franchise guy, so it's not like he's going to turn the Sixers into the Spurs, and I'm sure he has no interest in trying to 'up' a lower team. SO it's pretty much just championship teams for him: Spurs, OKC, Warriors, Heat, Clippers, etc. Of all the top teams, I could see him fitting in nice w/ the Spurs and Warriors, but not really anyone else, not immediately. Spurs and Warriors, I could see him contributing in a big way... IMMEDIATELY. I just don't see him leaving the Heat, personally.

And Bron ain't leaving the team he just went to 4 straight Finals with.

I don't know, though. That 90s Bulls team got tore apart eventually. 00s Lakers got tore apart.

It will happen to the Heat eventually. I just don't see it happening THIS offseason.

Before everyone gets too ahead of themselves. LeBron said he wants a max deal. Wade is reported at $15mil / year. Bosh looking for $15mil / year.

Can't get around cap holds... Considering Haslem did them a favor, he probably gets a couple mil a year over 3 years.

Cap is $63.1mil. Which means they have $5mil for 1 player. Then $5mil MLE. Veteran's minimum from there out.

I don't think they have the balls top stiff wade, so if I were them, I'd let bosh walk. Give wade 14, ask Bron to take 20.

Now you're at 23 million in cap. Sign gortat at ~10. Then you still have 13 to work with.

Imo, some combination of gortat/pau/Frye around 20 million is better than bosh by himself at 15-16.
