There aint nothing wrong with Parsons contract. A 3 year deal? Big whoop if it's 15 mill per. How is that toxic?
laugh.gif
He plays out this season and next to finish out Dirk's prime. They needed a younger 3. I see someone comparing it to Erick Dampier and others

a three year deal can't be toxic, look at Jeremy Lin and Asik, everyone made it out to be like they were the worst deals in history and it ended up being fine.

Dude got an invite to play for Team USA, he's definitely on the rise.
I agree, but as long as Kyle Korver is on the Team USA roster... that isn't an accomplishment

Type away all you want son got overpaid point blank, that's a salary for a top player in this league.

Nothing crazy about it, NBA gives out money like it grows on trees just call it what it is....don't try and defend it like he's worth that much.

Eh, look at all the other names though.. of course you're going to get your long shot specialists i.e. Faried (energy), Korver (shooting). Everyone else is legit

A majority of pro athletes are overpaid, I wasn't trying to say he's worth every penny. You can tell others to type away all they want about how they're wrong but you're doing the same thing

Again, a 3 year contract aint toxic. Dirk needed something, anything to help him close out his career. You act like this move is going to set their franchise back.

Wonder what's gonna happen with all of these contracts past two years once the new CBA comes out...

It will though. It hinders them from offering a max contract and signing LeBron next season, after he opts out of his Cleveland contract. They basically gave up LeBron for Parsons
I'm totally TROLLING!

I think Kobe will probably be 18 PPG next season

I think his numbers will be eerily similar to Aaron Afflalo

If the Spurs make the finals again that is fine, but if a team other than the Cavs make it out the east it will be hard to watch and ratings will suffer. Not looking forward to seeing the dysfunctional Pacers, the can't score Bulls, a cooler version of the Heat, and other than that who is really a contender out the east???
