I don't see that, at all.
WR class is deeeeeep, why would teams need to draft 7 in the first damn round? Damn near 25% of the league going to take a non essential position, in a year in which the class is deep and you can get just as good values in the 3rd-4th-5th rounds?
Why?
I'll be pretty shocked if 6-7 come off the board on day 1, blown away really.
at WR ain't that deep.
"first round talent" at WR is a luxury to have but not a necessity to win. especially when teams have so many other holes to patch. that's why six off the board is a lot, sneaker pro. i think that's the way i'd look at it.
out of curiousity, why?I so badly want Philly to draft Lee.
i would say it depends on the part of the 1st.. i would only take a megatron, aj green or fitz in the top 10WRs in the first for the most part are luxury picks.
Unless like stated, it's a Megatron.

Please enlighten me to what position is more of a neccesity than wide receiver outside of quarterback.
Its funny to me that Seattle winning the Super Bowl has people thinking wide receivers arent important when the Seattle Seahawks have invested more salary cap space into pass catcher than any other position on their roster, nevermind what they gave up for Percy Harvin in draft picks.
If wide receiver isnt that important of a position somebody needs to tell John Schneider.

Seattle knows how to draft though.
