Yea, he really did. Think it helps you can't hear it being said or read his lips. Unless there's another vid
Rondo was kinda slick with the **** tbh

Rondo got off very easy. I guess the league didn't want to suspend him for more than that because it would've made it seem as if they knew about Bill Kennedy being gay prior to the incident. Since it came out the way it did, they really could not make a case for suspending him longer than a game.

That's a very good point....
I wonder if any **** will fall on Kennedy for the way he refs games with Rivers coaching?
If kwame comes out of the closet what would we think of MJ?
If Chris Paul comes out of the closet will he finally get called for flagrants on his sack grabs?
Nah but Samaki (sp?) Walker did make a 3 after time expired going into Halftime of that Horry game that shouldn't have counted

This is true. It was another shot that playoffs. I think Hornets Magic series that went in but didn't count as well. But they started reviewing buzzer beater baskets the next season if I'm not mistaken.
That said Sacramento had every opportunity to win that series. The samaki walker shot is what it is. But when you blow a 24 point lead with a chance to take a commanding 3-1 lead, you set yourself up for that.
Besides everyone still to this day has selective memory and selective outrage brining up game 6. Game 5 was a much bigger travesty. Considering game 5 is a series changing game in a 2-2 series. Between Shaq fouling out on those Ticky tack flop calls to fisher getting blatantly thrown out the way by Chris Webber so Bibby could be wide open on his game winner the Kobe getting totally hacked on the last shot of the game. Game 5 was a joke. That Sacramento team was mentally weak. They would've got washed in LA in game 6 down 3-2. Anyhow when you shoot 16-30 from the free throw line in a game 7 with the finals on the line at home, manage to go to overtime and still lose. You deserve to lose. No excuses whatsoever.
Anyhow I can't believe that series was 13 and a half years ago. Time flies.
what does Rondo knowing or not knowing his orientation have anything to do with it? it doesn‘t, other than the fact that kennedy used this opportunity to shame rondo. him coming out just shows kennedy took this personal.
Because people do use the term regularly, whether as a joke or similar to simply saying a curse word to someone. If you have ever sat close enough at a game, its normal to hear all kinds of **** talking and vulgar words . That's why its kinda funny when you see little kids sitting courtside because that's all you hear when grown men are playing basketball. You even hear the N word on the court some time, but let a white player say it to a black player. Its going to be consequences by the league. That's just the way of the world.
If Rondo calls Lebron a "******" during the game, he gets a tech I'm sure. Does he get thrown out and suspended? I don't see it happening unless Lebron comes out the closet.

Rondo knowing about it beforehand definitely makes a huge difference. Let a player call Jason Collins that right now during a game and see what happens.
I already countered CP's claim that the series, or at least a specific game, did not have any bad (suspicious) calls in favor of the Lakers which was a deciding factor in who won that series.
Someone can find that and post it so we can move on with the thread.
no doubt

ESPNESPN w/ a subtle jab (step) at Melo?
