Blake ain't getting traded

. Cp3 ain't getting traded. None of that is happening. You don't trade one of the top 10 players in the NBA after his first and only off court incident. This is media driven. Clips desperately need a new GM though. Like badly. GM doc is something else. I tell you.

Problem with Coaches doubling as GM's is they are too close to the game to make unbiased rational decisions.
Haha I was joking but Do I personally think Blake is getting traded? No.

But if we flame out again in the 2nd round then there's a chance that something happens with this core this summer. Doc is trying to keep his job man and is willing to do whatever it takes. How they've played without Blake is probably encouraging to him and the idea of surrounding DJ and CP with 3 shooters could be enticing to him.

However trading Blake or CP is not the answer to the Clippers problems. There's nothing out there short of a KD / Blake swap that would make them more viable of an opponent to the warriors than they are now. Trading either right now would be such a rash decision, especially while both are under contract still.

Blake's too good to trade, and not trade for - if any of this is true, I'd imagine the Clippers are being flooded with offers league-wide. Sporting News is not spectacular for the NBA, but they're the first legitimate source to attach a different team. I dunno.

MJ isn't the GM tho, Rich Cho is.

Hornets are too invested in Kemba to trade him. Jefferson will probably get moved tho. No way hornets move Frank this early on either, I don't buy the rumor.

I don't think Monroe or his lack of defense is the problem in Milwaukee... maybe MCW, who will go out there and play 25 minutes without dishing out a single assist.

If there were a Clippers-Nuggets trade, hypothetically, then I think this probably is in connection with that?

Michael Scotto: The Denver Nuggets are seeking a late first-round draft pick in exchange for center Joffrey Lauvergne, league sources tell Sheridan Hoops. – via Twitter MikeAScotto

Nuggets: "Would you trade your 1st rounder for Lauvergne?"

Clippers: "No."

Nuggets: "What would you want for Blake?"

Clippers: "We're not interested in trading Blake right now. It's not his fault."

****NUGGETS & CLIPPERS HAVE SPOKEN ABOUT A BLAKE GRIFFIN TRADE****

they shouldnt be bailed out by bad free throw shooters  because they cant play defense.it just doesnt feel right . these dudes are millionaires. they should play defense. they need to practice defense. i think its just a lazy way to not have to play d.

two freethrows and the ball if they start hacking on purpose. thatll teach em.
Same could be said about shooting free throws. These dudes are millionaires. They should know how to shoot free throws. Practice free throws. It's boring. But it's a strategical move that gets the ball back to your hands with higher chances of them not scoring. Free throws and the ball back does make sense tho.

This is a topic for another day, but I'm concerned about the ease of sports gambling, DFS, and having a third-party bet on games for a player in particular that's involved in those games. A referee that's involved in those games.

The argument, 'That could have been going on FOREVER ... DFS wouldn't stop someone from hiring a third-party representative to go to a Las Vegas Sportsbook and bet the house on _____" ... you're right. It's already happened (coughTIMDONAGHEYcough) so let's just make it easier and harder to track, right? Silver: "Popularity!"

Read the book, Bringing Down The House and you'll understand how hard it is and has been to physically show up in casinos after you keep winning in massive quantiies, the lengths these casinos go to when there's repeated success, and that tangled web when someone's identified and nabbed or blackballed on the strip would lead back to the player eventually - as Las Vegas casino's security teams showed in that book with their Zero Dark Thirty Lite interrogation bits.

Suddenly if the gambling aspect/sports becomes intangible, and the third-party representative can essentially log on from anywhere with instructions from a player, ref, etc. -> who'll then, over the course of the game, make little adjustments/errors to salvage the bet for himself or themselves, then we've become the WWE with the possibility of several forced storylines clashing simultaneously.

Don't think about the current status, try to imagine the problems that could exist on the long-term timeline of this. You don't want a problem you can't reel back in, like e-commerce on the deep web as a result of the internet being invented a decade+ before, or ISIS using Facebook/Twitter to impress and recruit their favorite five-star "recruits" who they'll brainwash ... it doesn't have to be life-threatening stuff to have imaginable long-term effects that are negative. It's hard to reel something back in if it's been written in contractual-form that both sides agreed to long before (e.g. the NCAA's multi-decade old code that has kept the 'amateur athlete' model, as it's currently defined, intact).
