Damian Lillard lost ALL 4 OF HIS STARTERS.

But he's still cookin, leading his squad to 4-2 in the west. :hat

Stop with the BS in here and give him and the Blazers some damn respect.

Yeah what the Blazers are doing is impressive. I really expected sacrazy high usage low percentage scoring title year out of Lillard

East went 3-0 last night vs the West. That's 7-1 over the past 3 nights. Thunder took two of those loses.

Season head 2 head East winning 10-9.

Seems like every season there's a team that plays over its head for the first two-three weeks and then comes back to Earth. Maybe that team this season is the Blazers, but even if they don't end up being in playoff contention, they've already proven to me that they're better than I anticipated. They're going to be competitive most nights. I thought they would be terrible.

I thought that team was Atlanta last year. They maintained throughout the season. Blazers could possibly keep this up because the bottom of the West isn't what it use to be. After GS, OKC, SA, LAC and Rockets it's wide open.

I think I had the Blazers in my worst records prediction, but I didn't feel good about it. Their rotation is filled with capable players. I just didn't think who else was going to be bad besides the Sixers and Nets.

Lillard will get tired at some point, and his percentages and points will fall, I think. Also, I dont think they've played a particularly tough schedule yet. Still though, him and CJ are doing the damn thing so far.

Kings, memphis, okc, rockets, mavs, pelicans, all looking shaky while washington, miami, detroit, the cavs, all have looked good. orlando has been competitive.

So far more above .500 teams then the West 1-8.

I think the numbers will eventually swing in the West's favor - I don't think either the Clips or Dubs have played an East team yet - but the gap between the conferences may not be as big as it was last season.

3 match ups tonight. Lakers may get the only win.

Nets vs Lakers
Pistons vs Suns
Hawks vs Pelicans

East still has a team with a losing record in the 8th seed doe. And more teams under .500 overall.

True. All of this is subject to change of course. It's just good to see the East finally catching up. Better playoff match ups is what I hope for as a result. East has lacked round 1 playoff excitement for a while.

:lol the East ain't caught up yet. Thunder and Rockets just got off to bad starts. Detroit and Toronto got off to good starts.

We ALL KNOW that Toronto and Detroit will come back to earth and aren't real threats.
