Hard to say. Maybe Wall becomes a better outside shooter knowing he would play a little more off the ball. But, if Westbrook and Harden worked in stretches, I'm sure Wall and Harden could've worked out. I do believe the Wizards would have been less reliant on Wall being great in order to give themselves a shot at winning every night. It would just make them more dangerous and versatile.

Looking at the standings so far...the East seemed to have improved as there are talented teams that will be outside the playoff picture looking in.
Standings doesn't matter at this point, it's whose in the playoff picture currently.
Current Standings:
1- Cleveland
2- Atlanta
3- Toronto
4- Detroit
5- Chicago
6- Milwaukee
7- Miami
8- Indiana
Notable threats for 6th, 7th and 8th: Washington, Boston, NY (yes, I said it)
I would have Washington replacing Indiana, but those teams will battle it out.
West current standing:
1-Golden State
2- SA
3- LA Clips
4- Minny
5- Utah
6- Houston
7- Oklahoma
8- Dallas
Notable threats: Memphis and Sacromento (yes, I know they are 1-7 but this stretch may seem to be one of their toughest + they had Boogie for half their games, I believe they will make a 180 and compete), Phoenix.
I don't see the pels making the playoffs, I think reality will hit Portland midway through the season. I think Memphis will take Dallas out and Minny to compete with Sactown and PHX for the final spot

I also agree with what Nelson said about Sacramento. Extremely tough schedule, and have been without boogie. Collison also out. As long as they can stay away from the injury bug and semi stay afloat during the first half of the season, they'll be contending for a playoff spot in the 2nd half of the season.

i said this exact notion last night. not the 'whats the point' part. but basically, all any of these teams should focus on, chicago, detroit, atlanta, if they have any hopes of getting to the finals in the next couple years is 'Are we better than lebron'. that is literally all that matters. that should be the end game. plan all year for ways to beat him, and then when you face him, it'll be cake.

bron only has 3 yrs max though before he's just hardly a threat/scare anymore. so i'm sure he has to be in win-now mode. that window is closing fast. free agents aint running to slob his johnson anymore. **** you ray allen. you made me hate you.
