Agree 100% -- especially at a high level. It's funny when you bring up certain players, some folks are quick to play the "but he played for a long time, of course he has high stats!" card. Longevity is undervalued in sports for some reason. If you can play 20 years at a ridiculous level (Jerry Rice, Stockton) then you deserve hella praise.

Lebby has been very fortunate to this point. Bean was as well until that game vs GS. All it takes is one though.

He missed that opportunity when he turned down Chicago.

with Chicago you don't Have Pau, and are relying on Butler, and a often injured D-Rose...... although they would have damn sure been better then the cast he's had, that's still not beating Lebron & his team in the East.

I really hope Melo gets a chance to work with a real squad in the east, his game has never been predicated on being overly athletic and seems to have a game much like Pierce that will progress well over time, Porzingis seems to look like he can be a player in the future. hopefully they are finally able to lure a real second piece before he's out of his prime.
He chose to be a loser for the rest of his career.

Yea man seeing a Talent like D Rose/Hill/ Roy/ Penny lose out so early is trash. I really ain't mad at Kobe's because he got hurt after he already solidified his place in the history books. when its all said and done this last season won't be in the chapters, where as with those guys injuries will be the story.

Butler wasn't even a thing yet.

Already predicting a finals for Lebby again

Yeah I'm predicting a finals appearance for him....who you got?

With Melo they could've been more open to cutting bait with Rose. It was the perfect setup for him and he blew it. May not even make the playoffs the rest of his time in NY.

probaby fact, Melo was scared of Thibs practices work load.

NY will make the playoffs again with Melo (call me bias)
But I do hope we can build a formidable squad around him that can have a chance to beat Lebron in the next couple years

I hope he doesn't go out with an injury either. I want him to play as close to 82 games as possible in this state he's in :lol

watching Kobe slowly deflate in his last year >>>>>> depending on Dwight Howard to get me to a championship Level

Yea I'm not sure what made people think Dwight was taking LA to a title with that squad in the first place

Melo was my guy for years but when he made that decision I couldn't defend him anymore. He's never been one to look at the bigger picture financially though. See the long term deal he took in Denver instead of the opt out like Wade, Bron and Bosh, then forcing his way to NY instead of signing as a free agent and being able to keep more pieces, and now a few summers ago. Could have just signed a 3 year deal with an opt out with Chicago, compete for a title and then cash out next summer when the TV money kicks in.

According to the NT clock, LeBron is supposed to be at the Darvin Ham part of his career. So I'm sure retirement is soon.

bron also doesnt have the type of game that will translate as he ages

Seriously, you all have said this since 2009. His game is proving to age as well as nearly anyone in history because he is that much of a genetic freak. He's not on the same body-clock as everyone else. I don't know why that has been difficult to understand.

:rollin

What's funny is I'm sure almost every fan of a team would take Lebron over their best player right now. The only exception may be Warrior fans.
