Wait. THey took out Jackson in the middle of the game when news broke?   Is there a rule he cant play or was it for a classy gesture?

Once a player is traded, he has to be pulled from the game at the conclusion of the evening. Don't know if it's an official rule, but the team receiving the player doesn't want him out there playing for his old team when they are now footing the bill. Also, liability purposes.

So yeah, they get pulled. Not the first time, not the last time.

The kid shortstop makes it a little better. Apparently, he's an extremely good glove and tearing it up at A ball. As an 18 year old, that's impressive.
