And the 2011 Regular Season comes to an end with an Andrew Bailey strikeout.

Yeah I know no one cares.

But seriously, what a way to go into the postseason. 5 of the 8 teams going to the playoffs have won at least 7 of the last 10. The 3 that haven't are the Yanks, Phils, and Rays. The Yanks and Phils have the top 2 records in baseball. And the Rays prob have the most momentum now.

Can't wait for the postseason.

It's sad, but this is probably the best moment I've had as an O's fan in the past 10 years or so

BUILD OFF OF THIS!!!  Spend some money this offseason and let's go!!!!

*Andino has been putting in work all year.  Most improved Oriole IMO.  From what I've been reading, Buck wants him to get some work in the OF so he can be a Melvin Mora type of utility player next season.

*For Sox fans, how much heat is Epstein getting?

I would LOVE for Boston fans to blame Theo and have him leave to build another empire in Chicago. That would make this so much sweeter.

I don't really follow MLB outside of the Mets, but school me on Theo.
What makes him so special? I mean, they have a large payroll and a great manager, how big is Theo's prescience?

The big payroll helps immensely. I don't think much of him or Cashman for that matter in terms of being top GM's. Reason I think he'll go to Chicago and flourish is because they are the same way, can afford to have a big payroll and to mess up a signing. One thing I'll say about Theo, I think he has a decent eye for minor league talent.

Recent SI article showed he is smart. Once everyone started drafting college players high (his old strategy), he started drafting HS players. Some of those players helped complete the trade to bring Adrian. He's WAY better than Cashman IMO.

I wouldn't say WAY better but I agree he is better. Cash strikes out HARD with pitchers but decent with bats, good eye for minor leaguers but only recently came around to actually building around them. But like I said, I don't hold either of them in very high regards in comparison to other GM's around the league. I think the kid in Tampa is probably the best in the majors by a considerable margin.
