NT FANTASY BASEBALL

1. Head to Head Points

hitting

- 1 point for a total base (single = 1, double =2...), BB, RBI, HBP, R

- 2 points SB

pitching

- 1 point for an IP, K

- (-1) points for an ER

- 4 points for a win

- 2 points for a save

- Games started limit of 5 games per week. 

2. Season long ROTO

- classic 5x5

- R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG

- W, SV, ERA, K, WHIP

3. Head to head weekly ROTO

- classic 5x5, one win per week. 

***** why use classic 5x5 categories? There is strategy to winning a category. We all know RBI, AVG, W, and SV aren't the best stats to evaluate players, but there is a strategy to winning that stat category. *****

This stuff is never easy to put together, so if we're going with a 12 or 14 team league, I say we require 7 and 8 votes respectively when choosing the format. Once everyone votes, we'll go from there with sorting out the specifics.

I've been playing yahoo for fantasy sports since 2002 so to me it's just preference. I don't play anything on ESPN besides the bracket challenge.
