Yes. So let me get this straight, basically every record in baseball is "tainted"?
YES!
Cheating is basically ingrained into the culture and history of the game, no record are accurate or magical.

then wtf is the big deal shouldn't the writers know even more than us? Why are people being federally prosecuted?!?!
However, if there are guys who did (supposedly) play clean (frank thomas/jim thome come to mind), isn't that a slap in the face to them for what they accomplished by NOT cheating?
that's just it, though. "supposedly". when it's so ingrained within the game, you can't even assume innocence. would it surprise anyone outside of thome and thomas die hards if it came out that these guys were dirty? probably not.
because it's illegal..
But who gets to decide who actually gets prosecuted or not. There are plenty of players who just got slaps on the wrist
Griffey didn't cheat.
he couldn't of. or else my entire childhood is ruined
So how long has the ASG winner determined who got home field in the World Series? When did they start to use that format?
Excellent article, summing up the stupidity of Chris Davis's claims, that he's gunning for Roger Maris's home run record.

Why would they make such a dog and pony show out of it... There's plenty of names on the Mitchell report who denied those allegations but were never put up in front of congress unless they were an all star
Article is a lot of nonsense
