So all 14 indians fans thought it was funny to chant "Detroit is bankrupt" :|

Like y'all aren't close behind?

Clowns... 1948 was a LONG time ago.

I thoroughly disagree with the premise that the Indians are "melting down." Getting swept by the Tigers, a team that is the middle of a 12 game winning streak, hardly constitutes "melting down." Discounting the Tigers series, the Indians are 11-5 since the All star break. Including the Tigers series, they are still a respectable 11-9 since the ASB.

Where do you get this idea of melting down? I dont see it at all.
I was referencing the 6 run 3rd inning with 4 walks and 2 errors, not the the 4 game sweep or their record lol

____ player's body started to break down later in their career. must be steroids.

i mean, i'd imagine being an everyday starter for over 10 years would lead to player's bodies breaking down, but what do i know.

its a completely idiotic argument.

You aren't a doctor, you haven't seen Puljos medical report, you don't know.

He's 33, he could be even older.

It's not exactly shocking that a 240 lbs, 1B, is having injures after he turned 30.

This is based on nothing but just a feeling, but I think Albert Pujols is 37 or 38 years old.

Also this whole idea of the "danger" of steroid, and your body breaking down, comes completely from like 1970's 80's cold war Olympics where people were injecting like horse testosterone into their veins.

If Puljos is using steroids, he's a rich man its 2013 I doubt he's using some super dangerous ********.

Anyone read about Pujols using steroids? Anyone believe what the guy is saying?
I don't care what the guy has to say, but I would not be surprised if Albert used PEDs (or anyone else for that matter).

I might be the only one, but PED usage doesn't change my view on players.

I don't care anymore either. My personal opinion is that more than 50% of the MLB uses something illegal.

As for Rios going to Texas, wow. Pretty shocked that's happening. Great pickup for them.

Gentry, Rios, Martin, Engel Beltre, Elvis, Kinsler if he starts running like he has in the past... :x Speed everywhere.

Pujols is over 30 and it's not like he's a small guy. Foot problems for his age and size shouldn't be surprising especially if he's not taking care of them and trying to play through them.

Size and "33 years old" in mind, he shouldnt be moving as slow as he has been the past two years.  He looks like he is 40+ the way he moves around.

From what I've heard is Jack Clark is well respected and his word means something. MLB and ESPN is starting to talk more and more about this soooooooo let's see where this goes. Do they investigate this **** like Biogenesis or what?

You ever had any foot issues? I had plantar fasciitis for a while and man that was killing me even with taking meds.

And Pujols is not 33. The Angels will regret his contract, but it's their own fault for such a horrendous deal

Why not? They want to investigate every media report no matter who it comes from. As long it says PED in it, they'll go crazy over it.

I love that the MLB puts precedence on this and ignores every other epidemic in the game. The DUI problem and one of the faces of your game telling a cop he'd kill him getting swept under the rug is a strong stance by MLB.
