Ehhh yes and no. We have nothing in AAA that is ready to contribute in a part time role either....and I consider that part of depth. A lot of Major League teams who have good benches, also have a player or two in AAA that COULD be Major League bench players if said teams have good full benches to begin with. The Giants dont have anything close to those players either.Bench and depth not the same thing?
What pisses me off the most about Gary Brown is that the Mets wanted him instead of Wheeler in the Beltran trade of 2011. WE were the ones that pushed Wheeler instead of Brown. I know Wheeler has had bumps as a Major League starter so far, but Gary Brown is absolutely useless, and will never be a contributor to a ML team.He can't hit unfortunately. No reason for him to be in the majors outside of fielding center.

They did that to us last year, too. In August, same exact way.
I'm shocked! Doolittle threw that Sergio Romo hanger
when looking up stats on espn.com and mlb.com, why isn't josh beckett and clayton kershaw listed but rather considered unqualified on the list?

Not sure why you aren't seeing Beckett. Just checked and he's qualified. He has been as of his last start.
As far as Kershaw goes, he shouldnt be listed yet. To be qualified on league leaderboards for pitchers, a pitcher must have as many innings pitched as their team has games played. The Dodgers are currently 48-37 on the season, and Kershaw has only pitched 79.2 innings. He spent a lot of time on the DL, but he will be qualified after two or three more starts.
