After last night's game can we finally kill the following narratives:

- The Cavs are a super team
- The NBA is rigged

Both of those narratives were put on display last night and completely debunked.

1. I'm a Huge Lebron fan
2. Hate KDs personality and can't stand him

Its KDs league now. He is 28 years old and can shoot the ball and is starting to improve his passing/ defensive ability yearly while Lebron defensive and shooting ability is on the decline.

even my hatred can't deny dude is almost unguardable

Paul George and Carmelo are a good comparison right now though.  Maybe George still has a chance to rise out of the loser's swamp.

Both might as well start ring chasing, especially Melo.

If PG goes West, he's getting a ring. Imagine if he went to GSW [emoji]128563[/emoji]. Especially the way everyone settling for less than max. I think Klay or someone would still leave though.

I still think the NBA is rigged. Silver unlike Stern likes storylines to maximize profits. KD getting his first ring. Warriors going 16-0. Definitely a recipe for all of this.

Same with last year, as much as a fan of Lebron I am, pretty unbelievable that Cavs can back from down 3-1 last year. All you kept hearing in commentary was "no team has ever", "Cavs break losing streak for their city" etc.

IF the Cavs somehow muster a win on Friday, then I might not think that.

Agreed with everything except the last paragraph lol.

Just personal preference. No wrong in that.

So would you take Curry & KD in their prime or Kyrie & Lebron?

Has KD plateaud?
That's tough. Definitely taking Curry over Kyrie. Prime KD and Prime Bron is hard. I'd probably give Lebron the nod though.

I don't think KD has peaked. He's still young but I don't know what else he could add to his game to make him even better.

KD has been unguardable for 7 years

Stop. The refs were Cleary wearing Cavs jerseys last night it was frustrating. That's the only reason the game Was close.

Cavs are a super team. Lol, y'all just try to say they aren't to give LeBron more credit(he's playing with garbage narrative) . We not playing that game anymore. Cavs would be running the league if it weren't for the warriors. Warriors stacked the deck better then LeBron. Simple as that.

this is true. Every time it looked as if GS was going to go on a run. A whistle. Zaza might've been wearing a Cavs jersey too with all those illegal picks and grabbing he was doing.

Answer me this stans, why was LeBron in best player in the league conversations without being a champion in 2010 & 2011 when there was another guy who was a made man at the time putting up similar numbers and winning chips?

Zaza was an honorary Cavs member last night

Put the grass down man. What are you even saying right now :lol.

***** think this is baseball or something.

My last rant on this NBA finals. I'm tired of people acting surprised. We all knew when KD went there the potential of what we are seeing could happen. They are peaking now at the right time. The Cavs if they didn't "rest" could have won 70 games in that weak eastern conference. We all know how great Lebron is but I'm so sick of when he loses he suddenly doesn't have a team. Both teams are stacked it's why the NBA is a joke. Miss me with the tears for either team. If the Cavs were up 3-0 the Warriors fans would be crying the same song. Y'all fooled like Republicans and Democrats.
Bring on the NFL!

Also stans answer me this...y'all knew what a monster GS was yet you were still blind witnesses who thought your leader would be able to overcome it all just because he's so far and away the best player yet come to find out he ain't even the best on the floor.

Why Curry over Irving? Is it because he can pull up from the parking lot effortlessly?

I'd take Kyrie, man when he channels his inner Uncle Drew, my goodness, some of the stuff he does to break down the defense or just to get to the bucket is ridiculous. Steph, yes a ridiculous shooter and definitely a better shooter than Kyrie, but I don't think his handles are better. They both excel where the other lacks but can do the same thing if that makes sense.

There's absolutely nothing kyrie can do better than curry, nothing.

Myrie doesn't pass. Myrie is a bucket but he isn't affecting the game the same way as Steph.

If you think Myrie is still better, you can't be helped

The blame game for Myrie already beginning. Max saying he cost them the game. Good thing he's already got ahead of it with talking to Bean about feuds.

The hot takes of a mad man. Were you alive during David Sterns era? :lol

And the NBA is far from "rigged". However, officials can influence games and give teams competitive advantages in the interest of the product/home cooking.

Which part of what I said were you referring to? PG going out west? Depending if he goes to the right team, he'd definitely be a in better position that he has been for the last few years. He was in Danny Granger's shadow long enough. Then his unfortunate injury. Those things aside, Lebron been whooping him every year in the East.
