People are overreacting on how bad the Cavs are right now.
They still a super team and no one in the east is touching them next year either.
Still wouldn't be shocked to see them come back.

Can't find the info online. Did the Cavs use all their timeouts throughout the game or did they have some left over at halftime and at the end of the game?

That would make sense since Tyronn Lue said he had no idea what happened in the last 4 minutes of the game :lol

KD has been in that conversation, it's just that he hasn't had a chip to fully validate all that's done. 1A and 1B. You can interchange them and still wouldn't be wrong.

HOW? Because he's on a different team? KD did not ascend in one season. He's been doing this. If he wasn't in the conversation before, how is he all of a sudden now just because he's on GSW? That's bogus.

Throw any top 10 player or player that is the sole superstar on their current team on that GSW and you can call them the best right now as well.

Right are people forgetting dude lead the league in scoring like 4 times. What was suppose to happen adding him to a team with the top defender and the 2 best shooters in the league.

KD was the MVP just a couple of years ago.  He's been in the discussion.

I don't think I would put him above LeBron today, but I do think he Steph and LeBron are the 3 best players in the league.

well one, i haven't thought there was much of a big gap between them in the first place. Secondly when judging the best in the League between two people with similar talent levels winning & how you play in the biggest games has a lot of bearing for me. Hence why it was always hilarious to me that people were Calling Bron the best player in the league while Kobe was still out here playing other wordly basketball & winning championships while doing it.

KD is CLEARLY outplaying Lebron on Offense, Defense, & has made a bigger impact in crucial moments. & he's doing that against what WAS the best player in the league. If you are a close two and then outplay #1 in the Finals i think that gives credence to you now being the best player in the league Today. KD clearly hasn't surpassed lebron in legacy or his place amongst the Goats. But as of 6/8/17 he's playing like the best player in the world.

Paul George "took KD and Carmelo's spot" according to NT a couple years ago, so you can never put any stock into their player evaluations

Then:

“I know teams switch and pick up new coaches or new players, and their whole goal is kind of they want to beat me,” James told cleveland.com, in a candid discussion about the upcoming year and his place in the sport at age 31, in this his 14th season. “It’s never just about me, but I always hear them saying, ‘We gotta beat LeBron.’ It’s not just me on the court, but I understand that teams get together in this conference and across the league to try to beat me.”
Now:

“But you hate to continue to put yourself in these positions, but at the end of the day it’s still just basketball, man, and that’s what gives me comfort."

...and just like someone said a few pages back, Lebron faced the same criticisms until he won his first ring, all it takes is one to validate everything. Stay stuffing doesn't do anything at the end of the day after you retire. KD is great definitely in my top five currently, but he is no where near Lebron overall in my book. Lebron hasn't even plateaud yet, I say another year maybe two and we might see him taper off.

Saying KD with GSW is greater than Lebron now is like saying Lebron was better than Kobe after he won his first ring in MIA. Heck nah.

I dont even consider this Cavs team a superteam... Are they a superteam because they have 3 all stars?... Super team to me should still be able to win games without their top players... Lakers 80s did this, Bulls 90s did this, Spurs did this, and now GS are doing it... Cavs in the other hand barely makes the playoffs... Kyrie/Love were never proven winners before Lebron.

Would you be surprised? Dude tucks his tail and runs every time the going gets tough

You know his bought in for at least another year, then he has to opt out the following year. At least 2 more years. By then he be borderline 35 yrs old..

Some valid points, so I'll agree to disagree. But what does KD really have to do? One thing he's always done, and that's shoot/knock down shots. He's a shooter.

On the other hand, Lebron has to do far more than just spot up and shoot. He has to do everything. They are two different type of players. If their game was the same I'd agree 100%, but I think there are some legit descrepancies that can be pro/con the arguement for best right now.

But chips are a legacy thing. If you strip all of that and judge it soley on basketball ability and talent, Lebron is not head and shoulders better than KD and you are going to have people that will take KD over Lebron and they wouldn't be wrong.

Lebron plateaued back in Miami. His decline is taking longer because he takes care of his body. His final form came.

In the GSW reference, how many top players do you mean winning without?

Always was amazed how Lebron has never had a major injury. He is an incredible physical specimen.

Plateaued? Dude just had his best regular season statistically, and probably having his best finals statistically...

2014 season he did "everything" when Westbrook was out. KDs offense is way more polished than lebrons

The dumbest part of that is ever putting Carmelo on the level with KD.

Paul George and Carmelo are a good comparison right now though.  Maybe George still has a chance to rise out of the loser's swamp.

Agreed with everything except the last paragraph lol.

Just personal preference. No wrong in that.

So would you take Curry & KD in their prime or Kyrie & Lebron?

Has KD plateaud?
