From a coaching standpoint, wouldn't it be better to rest LeBron earlier in the game so he can have a significant impact in the 4th? What's the point if him playing all those minutes if he's washed at the end? It just seems stupid to me.

They did. Literally the only 2 minutes LeBron rested the Warriors went on 10-0 run

Also, Kevin Love sucked on offense yesterday. That shouldn't be overlooked
LeBron had less than 2 minutes of rest at the end of the fourth and the Warriors put up 10 points.

You can't rest LeBron, period.

I'm all for Melo joining the Cavs. The only way you beat this Warriors team is with great offense. You gotta match that fire power. No type of defense will stop them.

Barring a major injury, Warriors 3peat is coming. Dynasty in the making, not the way people would've liked it, but its evident at this point.

KD ruined what would have been the most lit string of Finals ever.

If he didnt join them we'd probably have these 2 teams going 7 games back and forth for a few years.

From a fan of basketball standpoint thats kind of a bummer

It's really obvious they shouldn't have let delly go. He was truly the heart and soul of this team. Would of been putting the locks on steph

I feel like Shumpert has been doing pretty good off the ball defense on Steph. He makes Steph work to get open.

In general, it's just hard to lock down anyone on the dubs because you literally cannot double anyone.

Melo isn't moving the needle by going to Cleveland. Lebron going to turn him into a role player.

The Cavs play best when TT is on the bench and Korver is on the floor. Imagine replacing Korver, Dwill, Frye and all these washed bums with Melo? Ofcourse he moves the needle. Thats an instant 20ppg added on the floor.

These opposing players respect Melo more than any fan does.

Unless Lebron comes out and says he's tired, stans can't hide behind it. Like park ball, you gotta call your own fouls playboy.

He said that today, that he was mentally and physically tired per Yahoo Sports article. I'm not buying it or think that's a legitimate excuse. This is the NBA Finals, even against a formidable team like GSW, you gotta dig down. I think he did, but a team winning is never an individual sport, reference Westbrook. You gotta have compliments to your stature. Which is also on the coaching staff too. Yes it's the Finals and you don't want to risk it, but you have several pieces to use, but stick to the same 6-7 man rotation. Of course Lebron would be gassed or spent in that scenario if he's the most used but that can't be deferment for others aside from Lebron or Kyrie stepping up, no mater the caliber of the other team.

Here's hoping they save face and win game 4. I'd prefer them just win one than surrendering and getting swept.

TT is having a bad series. The last two years showed that he can play. Korver had a good game last night but he hasn't had a great series either. Melo still has to defend. The Cavs as a whole still have to defend. Their offense isn't the problem, they can't defend. This aint Melo of yester year either. His time has come as well.

As a Warriors and Curry fan... Dont like the fact... Curry is putting up great number but probably will not win FMVP again... Been pulling for him since he was drafted.,

Also is this really a rubber match? I mean it's no longer the same team once we added KD. Shifted the narrative a lot. I wanted nothing more than to come back this year and prove we were a better team last year without KD.

Yeah, at this point just grab A game.

Still holding out for a miracle simply for the sake of competition. Push it to 5/6 games and I'll be happy at this point.

Melo will just make the Cavs a better offensive team. Like I said in the Knicks thread, offense alone isn't enough. Obviously, nothing is going to stop this warriors offense but if you add enough two way players maybe you can slow them down enough to win. I don't have faith in Melo as a two way player.

It's funny how different players who do the same things get perceived differently based on perception.

How does one get empty stats If the game is close. What exactly are you supposed to do?

This. You aren't beating GSW trying to match them offensively. Their defense is what sets them worlds apart.

Imagine LBJ not being there, and Kyrie having to make the shots he made last night every night for the Cavs to win, for 82 games.

I wouldnt say it is. Last year the Warriors beat KD and lost to the Cavs. Adding KD is so unprecedented that it changes the dynamic of the Warriors and Cavs business from last year. The Warriors that lost was unfinished business that had nothing to do with KD.

TT only played good when Bogut went down. And Melo's time hasn't come. He's been doubled and triple teamed on this bum *** Knicks team for years now and is still putting up some of the best percentages of his life averaging 20+. Yes their offense is a problem. Bron is not allowed to sit against the Warriors. Adding Melo as a #2 or 3 option automatically makes them able to compete with the Warriors. **** all this Melo doesnt play defense ********. You cant tell me he's a worse defender than Korver, Frye, JR, and every other bum that gets subbed in.

You beat great offense with great offense.
