Game 3 was competitive. This series has been entertaining even with GSW winning. This needs to end tomorrow night.

Before this series Lebron >MJ was a thing.

Now, he doesn't even run the League and KD has usurped him.

Perspective.

Melo will just make the Cavs a better offensive team. Like I said in the Knicks thread, offense alone isn't enough. Obviously, nothing is going to stop this warriors offense but if you add enough two way players maybe you can slow them down enough to win. I don't have faith in Melo as a two way player.
I dont even think Melo with make that offense better.  You cant just put three players on the same team who ISO all the time with one basketball.  The reason Klay, Steph, and KD work is because they all move off the ball.  Lebron and Irving just stand there.

TT only played good when Bogut went down. And Melo's time hasn't come. He's been doubled and triple teamed on this bum *** Knicks team for years now and is still putting up some of the best percentages of his life averaging 20+. Yes their offense is a problem. Bron is not allowed to sit against the Warriors. Adding Melo as a #2 or 3 option automatically makes them able to compete with the Warriors. **** all this Melo doesnt play defense ********. You cant tell me he's a worse defender than Korver, Frye, JR, and every other bum that gets subbed in.

You beat great offense with great offense.
Even with Melo, Cleveland still isn't a better offensive team. This ain't the Olympics. GSW would still dominate.

Melo turned into a catch a shoot player in the Olympics surrounded by iso players and looked like the best player in the world. You cant tell me that he wont make the Cavs better.

Maybe they wont be better than the Warriors, but in a 7 games series they'll have a much better shot at beating them.

It wasn't really a thing though. Like everything regarding LeBron it's premature ejaculation by those wanting so bad for him to be the best ever.

This. You aren't beating GSW trying to match them offensively. Their defense is what sets them worlds apart.

Oh thank God for other ppl actually backing me up in here.

Melo too selfish for that.

His mentality has got to change, I don't care how great of a shooter he is. Lebron could probably change that, but the bought of Melo on that team just makes me cringe.

Man, GSW fans and the rest of the league would have a fit, just like CLE fans and the rest of the league did when KD bolted to GSW. The only difference is Melo is older so his clock for a hardware is ticking. It's gotta suck seeing your draft class counterparts succeed with multiple rings but you don't when you are clearly top picks.

Weren't you in the draft thread slandering Europeans, but now you expect Melo to perform the same way he does against euros vs Americans?

Depends what you give up to get him.  If you give up Love I think it is a sideways move.  Your offense may get a little better, but you get worse on the boards and probably worse on defense.  Not to mention Melo takes some absolutely horrible shots.

You arent beating the Warriors by trying to run and gun with them.  You have to be physical, outrebound them, limit your turnovers and their possession, while being efficient.  Trying to outscore this team isnt going to work.

I wasnt slandering Europeans. I was just saying that I wouldnt waste a lotto pick on them.

Anyone who compared Lebron to MJ clearly knows little about basketball. The dudes don't even play the same position-Lebron to Magic would probably be a better comparison, tbqh.

Not gonna happen but y'all think PG would help them get over the hump?
depends how they get him. They dont have room to sign him outright so it would have to be a trade.  If they give them love, then no, I dont think it puts them over the hump.

Melo is done, he's an overpaid, selfish loser with a poor work ethic.

Kevin Love playing like a average starter compared to the superstar he's let on to believe is a huge reason. D-Will hasn't scored anything yet in like 30+ minutes. Another big reason.

Small things that these two dudes easily could help a bit by just ******* playing any type of good basketball.

@Ballinsam23 told me in another thread that the warriors gets no credit for their defense during that 11-0 run. The Cavs was just missing good shots, he says. What say you, finals thread.
