I think there are enough Jordan or Kobe fans out there who will tune in to watch Bron get washed again. But the fact that we are sitting here and already determining the finals for next year is pretty sad.

Casuals love super teams. Everyone knew when the Lakers or bulls were running it, no one else had a shot. Didn't effect ratings at all and it isn't now.

Appreciate the dose of reality.
Who's to say GSW or CAVs don't slip up and get dropped off during the playoffs? May not be likely but anything can happen.

The Lakers played The Pacers, Sixers, & Nets in the finals by the time they got their people knew they were gonna get WASHED & it didn't stop the league. Also the Warriors play one of the most exciting brands of basketball ever people will continue to watch this team.

They had the benefit of playing a cold Warriors team who had been sitting for like a week and shot like **** the first half. Kawhi is a great player, but he isnt making up that difference for the other 3 games.

Lakers also played the Spurs, Kings and Blazers. You knew the Lakers would win but at least those teams were great and made the west playoffs watchable. Warriors got the easiest road to the finals ever with that offense.

Rudy Gay is probably gonna end up on the Cavs, Not that that's gonna be the move that puts the Cavs over the top but he would actually help their cause a lot if he's back to 100%
