Does the KD logic apply to the Paul George - Cavs convo?

Why join LeBron when he spent more of his career trying to beat him?

When it comes to superstars leaving teams to join other teams, there is no one apples to apples comparison.

These guys all have their reasons that we gotta just accept at the end of the day because we 're not in their heads.

It's amazing to me when I see people actually crediting the Celtics for being the first "superteam". I honesty believe most of you guys started watching the NBA maybe around 2009 or something.

examples?
I don't recall a former MVP joining a allstar SG to go to join allstar SF's team and have a young stud PG. ALL in their prime.
I understand before 2005 not many MVPs left teams the way things were set up. What the Cs did and correct me if i'm wrong is they got a MVP top player and a top SG to join their amazing SF. Thats hard to do and that clearly gave lebron the idea to create his team.
now its at another level.....MVPs joining forces is the elite level

you don't really think the value of malone GP former studs WAY past their prime brought value to lakers do you? and they lost to WHO? pistons...

were there super teams of course but C's is the first to be created in that way. i think i'm right. and no i dont count blazers either.

and homie are you a "SUPER TEAM" if you don't win?

Does anyone think that jordan would have signed with the pistions? bird magic teaming up? won't know for sure but i highly doubt it.

its such a cheap ring its a joke

you know barkely 3 years in a row lost to the team that would go on to win the NBA championship.....he didnt then decide let me go play with a former MVP in his prime and win a championship

damn bruh, this might be one of the most random things i've read

Word. :lol

*Kanye shrug*

It was tough to see him get cooked by Kyrie in Game 2 live and in-person, I was hoping for the best and he got danced on :rollin

no hate bruh, i'm a fan of Ian as well. always glad to see him get his shine on when he's on the court.

but just wondering how you became a big fan of his? dude seems to be one of the more obscure relative to the other warriors' players

how about shaq forcing a trade to miami and chasing a ring off wade

Yeah, this **** ain't been around forever. Whether you started watching in the 80's, 90's or 00's...doesn't matter. There my have been previous attempts, but it's certainly started picking up with the C's.

You mean when Kobe forced Lakers to trade the 1xmvp and 3xfinals mvp so he could get washed by the suns and play with Smush Parker? Then ratted on shaqs adultery when he was caught up in his rape case?

Nice revisionist history

I hated my old job. My talents were being under utilized and I was wasting my best years. So I got a new job at a better company doing something very similar but on a much grander scale

Sucker move am I right?

Yes but errybody in here already knows you're sucka tho.

Jk it's tough to compare that to a corporate job famb but I do see what you're saying.

Sports debates are highly irrational imo.

I felt like you shoulda stayed at your old job. You would eventually won employee of the year, got the promotion you wanted and lead your rivals in quarterly earnings for at least the next 3 years. This chasing a comfortable job that pays well generation :{ wouldn't last against 90's workers at all.

Except these guys are taking paycuts to ring chase. The only thing comfier about the work is the easier road to a chip. Lottery teams have more vacation days too. 8o
