So who retires with more chips?

Bron, KD, or is it a push?
The INSANE thing is that if not for the ridiculous 3-1 series blown lead, we'd be talking about a 4 peat, cuz next season they're most likely winning again

Can any organization realistically assemble a team to beat the Dubs in the next 3-4 seasons if they keep this current core?

I think so, Celts and Miami were viewed in the same light. There will be a team to at least take us to 6 in the west/finals and that's being humble.

Idk. Many of us thought Miami had a chance to win 3+
Exactly, we don't know what powerhouses my form or Superstars emerge in the coming years. Not to mention injuries and chemistry issues. I can predict next year, the Warriors should pull it off if everyone stays healthy but, that's not even certain. Not saying the Spurs would've won, but I think they would have took us to 6 had they got game 1 and Kawhi stayed relatively healthy.

Damn KD gone be top 3 when he retires ahead of Bron and Bean. What a time!

Best in the World today?

It's still the same right......no changes in the last 24?

they should just prune the bottom 5 teams every year, then add a few back when the league gets too full. let the top 5 teams form super-rosters at any one time. form tiers of teams (isn't this kind of how fútbol works?). if you win your tier, you move up next season. top 5 or so play for A league championship.

KD ends with 3 MVPs, 4 chips, all time leading scorer in NBA regular season and playoff history.

You think he's gonna get 3 more regular season MVPs?

He won't be touching Bean in the all time top order tho lol

I'd put bron over him but that's just me lol

He already has one. He wins his 2nd next season. And one in 2019. GS about to 3 peat.

City of Cleveland deserves that sweep... y'all got your lucky championship last year you should take that and be happy with it ... y'all got all arrogant and cocky this year I'm sure the sweep will humble y'all down

Even if GS ends up winning this Finals, they're probably not going to be able to pay them all maximum contracts.

did Oakland become less arrogant and cocky after getting embarrassed in last year's finals?

Think it's been reported that KD and steph are willing to take less.

Think Klay seems like he's the only one that wants to leave but can't gsw offer them the most? AND they have the best chance of winning for the next x years

I really don't know. The Spurs are an X factor because we don't know what would have happened if Kawhi didn't go down and TP was available (besides them taking G1). If the Spurs can get CP3 I think it becomes a lot more interesting in the west. Paul's passing and defense are major upgrades over TP (and a better scorer).

Danny Green would have to be 2014 Danny Green again. Kawhi will be Kawhi. LMA...well, I don't know about LMA. Maybe Paul's presence would help, but he looked awful this post-season.

Spurs defense would still be incredible. Pop's a better coach than Lue so I would think he would play them much better. They would still need an offensive piece though.

Let's revisit this when the Warriors win again and he has at least 2.
Well, we have people (myself included although I was half joking) that believe the Dubs rattle off 5-6 in a row.

I don't see it.
