The cavs will not only win but win convincingly this go round for the simple fact that they will dominate the boards again this finals. Tristan Thompson is due for a big breakthrough but the sleeper is Kevin Love. He's become a rebounding machine that you can't leave open. What he does for the Cavs is becoming more valuable than what Draymond does for the Warriors. Kevin Love can consistently give you 15 and 10

 
Anybody calling a Warrior sweep wouldn't dare put their money where their mouth is.

Bron gonna d up KD and get to the rim at will. Steph gonna mess up his ankle and be hobbled (the basketball gods gonna punish him for Kawai). JR smith gonna score 30 one of the games and Korver gonna drop 20 off the bench. Channing Frye gonna cook too, and both D-Wills will contribute off the bench. Like Shaq always says it comes down to the others and the Cavs have better others.

Workhorses: Lebron and Kyrie vs. KD and Steph

Key role players: K. Love and Tristan Thompson vs. Klay Thompson and Draymond Green

Bench depth: Cleveland's depth vs Golden State's Depth.

Be honest with yourselves and you see off top Cleveland wins 2 out of those 3 categories....

I've seen Kyrie hit the biggest 3 point shot in NBA finals history. I don't think he's hit his prime yet.

More facetious than anything. Steph doesn't play big in the finals. That doesn't bode well for Warriors winning against a Cavs team that has 2 unguardable scorers.

Not to mention Rodman who was basically Tristan Thompson on steroids.

Is it really that hard to prepare for the Warriors pick and roll? Especially with a week to watch film and prepare. The finals is about matchups, adjustments, and execution. That on paper bs does not matter as much as folk think, especially when teams have time to prepare for other teams.

In addition to the rim protection and rebounding woes that are to come in this series. As much as gsw fans want to turn mcghee into mutumbo, it's not happening. Festus ezeli is a step up from mcghee.

In addition, gsw not having a big man that can pass out of the post like bogut is another overlooked fact by gsw fans.

Stephen A. basically confirmed he jinxed the warriors by picking them to win and saying I know everyone in Cleveland is relieved. Then he issued a threat live to KD saying this is what he wanted and he better get the job done or all the slander that Lebron got throughout the years will be nothing compared to what's coming his way.

Stephen A is still salty about when KD flexed on him and he and none of his people know who Stephen A is. Regardless the pressure on KD is REALLY big right now. The slander will be incredible.

Warrior fans going to be in there feelings come game 4 when the cavs sweep.

Dubs gonna lose the finals and I wouldn't even be surprised if they dropped game 1.
Their top players wouldn't be anything on any other team and certainly not even considered top tier players in league with Kawhi, or Lebron(exception KD) It's a huge cheerleader effect going on. The thing that's more pressing is the fact that because they play "great team ball" they don't need an alpha or leader.
Which is wrong, you need a guaranteed player that no matter what happens, the offense will be led by them. The dubs don't have that and even have a player that was that or vying for that that ran to their team, with all other presumed "leaders of the team" in the pitch room convincing him to sign.
That's just not a great look at all. Seems it's hurt Thompson the most, clearly the weakest of the bunch mentally.

The main thing that will shoot this team in the foot is that they like to play hot potato by riding whoever gets the hottest and basically whoever scores the most points will be the one with the ball in their hands(word to Iggy 2 years ago)

- In Game 1 Steph will in fact try to redeem himself by doing at least 3-4 behind the back passes to erase the stupidest play in finals history and will fail
- Steph will go hard(and fail) at trying to force things against Kyrie. I even predict he will try to call for a switch with Kyrie, much like Kyrie did to him. I also expect zero mid range jumpers from steph although the entire wing will be open for him to shoot. It's 40-50 footers or bust
-KD will be all in his feelings during the first press conference of game 1(even if they win the game)
- With each victory including the 3rd one and even after they win the chip Bron gonna downplay the Cavs and say the dubs "are just an unbelievable ball club and we're extremely proud and lucky that our ball club is in this position. We were complete underdogs coming into the series against such a juggernaut etc."

I'm from NY and I'm rooting for the Warriors to win, but I think the Cavs will win in 6.

Not sure how this became an east coast vs west coast thing.

Something tells me Klay will go missing this Finals again, and someone from the Cavs like JR or Deron will have big games. Cavs are just deeper than the Warriors at this point. For the Warriors to win, not only does the starting 5 have to play at an extremely high level, but players from the bench will have to as well. I don't see it happening.

The way the Cavs offense runs, they allow their bench guys to get more open looks. You don't see that happening for GS too often, unless David West passes the ball with precision and they get open layups. Guys like Frye and Korver will have to be asleep on their assignments. Plus, Lebron is playing 40+ minutes. He will keep that B team to pace the entire game.

Jrue, Iggy, Thad Young, Lou Williams, etc was just getting us in the playoffs as a 6-8 seed every year with no hope of ever actually being a contender.

Well yeah, but when our draft picks have continued to either be injured when we draft them or get injured shortly after then we've had no choice but to continue tanking

This year I actually started rooting for them to win games when Embiid was healthy, but once they took him out for the rest of the year and said Ben was out for the rest of the year then the tank was right back on.
