I'd take GS easy over any of those teams. Rockets would be food on defense besides Hakeem. You got to have elite prime all time talent to compete with them with at least 2 superstars. That's why the Bulls, 80s Lakers/Celtics, 00s Lakers, really the only ones I can see beating them. And they would have to be the best versions of those teams. 86, 87, 96, 01 respectively.A couple of intriguing hypothetical matchups for the Warriors that haven't been mentioned are the '95 Magic, 95 Rockets, 14 Spurs and '13 Heat.
Especially the 95 Magic. Nick Anderson and Dennis Scott averaged almost 6 3PA a piece....both shooting at 42% percent. Penny shot a respectable 35% on over 3 threes a game. This is the early to mid 90s mind you. To have 3 players that were elite 3 point shooters, shooting a combined 15 threes a game with Shaq was crazy.
Then you had Horace grant who could move his feet, defend and hit long 2s. And of course...Shaq in his mobile, athletic prime.
I think that team would def be an interesting matchup for the Warriors.

I don't know they got swept by the Rockets so I don't think they'd have a chance.Oh I'd still take GSW...but I think those teams have the unique blends of elite shooting and athletic shooting wings and versatile bigs to make things interesting.
Especially the 95 Magic
I never asked anything about durant...
You literally asked why he stayed. I said money (which is what he is responding to) and a bunch of young teammates. Go back a read what you wrote

I don’t think he even knows what he’s going on about
If KD hated OKC so much, why did he resign the first time in 2010?
I now know why the quality level in this thread is so low--75% of y'all weren't born before 1996
When.. quote where exactly I asked that
You can feel free to quote where exactly I asked this too

You're an old soul. You are the exception. Props
Exactly, I think to be safe the early 2000s were kind of the bridge between the super physical era and the soft one, so if you go there I'd favor a lot of the older elite teams, but nobody is beating GS playing at their own rules I don't think.Chauncey had a good point in this debate of Ws vs teams of different eras. What eras rules are they being governed by, now or then? Some of that old tough defense would be hard for these dudes.
You people are children that keep on bringing up **** like this.
The league is absolutely nothing like it was just back in like 2010.....let alone 16 YEARS AGO.
Bunch of idiots posting **** on here and social media like "it's different, LeBron didn't join the Celtics after they beat him.".......completely negating the fact that they didn't have the cap space to sign him and Pierce, Garnett and Ray Allen were all in their mid 30's.
KD was just a free agent at the perfect time with the Warriors having the perfect amount of cap space to be able to sign him after letting Barnes, Speights, Ezeli and Bogut walk. If there was a team with three stars in the prime of their career instead of just two then best believe LeBron would have signed with them.
chauncy billups is delusional. 04 rules 17 rules it don't matter, this warrior team is whooping that ***
