That championship pistons team scored less than 70 3x the year the won the title.

They won a playoff game 69-65. Pretty sure they'd get washed

That team didn't just let harden walk. They trade green for Perkins, let Jackson walk, traded Eric Bledsoe, Glen Davis, nenad kristic, Carl Landry. That's a management that was great at getting young talent but terrible at keeping it.

Add Eric manor to that list too

Davis, Bledsoe and Landry were draft trades, none ever wore a supersonics or thunder jersey.. not even a practice one

Jackson was traded

Maynor was never the same after blowing out his knee

And nenad just sucked, his play went into trading green for perkins

I wish the Spurs wouldn't have got hurt so they could have got that work too.

Cause they would have

It sickens me to hear the BS from people who honestly believe the Spurs would've won that series if Kawhi was playing. The whole basis of that is dependent on a 3.75 qt sample size. Now, if the series was tied 3-3 and Kawhi didn't play a game 7 I could understand. But c'mon now :lol

Chauncey had a good point in this debate of Ws vs teams of different eras. What eras rules are they being governed by, now or then? Some of that old tough defense would be hard for these dudes.

Good point. I agreed with Chauncey, because the physicality would not only affect the Warriors on a psychological level, but the Warriors wouldn't even be able to play the offense they do now. A lot of it is based off floor spacing. Being able to hold players and beat them up in the perimeter would be troublesome for the Warriors.

I still think the Warriors beat both the 96 Bulls and 04 Piston.

Yes, I've seen both teams play live.

Real talk.

Also, people forget this GSW is ELITE defensively. What they do on defense goes under appreciated because of how elite they are offensively.

I've effusively emphasized just how great the Warriors are on the defensive side of the ball. You can make a persuasive argument that they're better on the defense than offense.

Yeah the defensive commitment from everyone is insane.

Sidenote I'd love to see what Klay could do as the guy for a team, growing into that role. Like Harden with defense.

When.. quote where exactly I asked that
You can feel free to quote where exactly I asked this too

You were literally responding to a dude asking why KD stayed. Go back and read for yourself.

I literally asked you to elaborate.. which is why I highlighted your choice of 2 words and took out other portions of your response

I wanted further context to your choice of words

I don't know why Durant did what he did.. I don't expect you to either

Depends which era they were playing in. I dont see very many "playoff fouls" occurring these days. Back then, if you went into the lane you would pay the price.

Klay isn't built to be the #1 guy. Same applies to Draymond. They both know this as well. They need GS as much as GS needs them.

Cool. Way to waste everyone's time with a dumb *** point

Why would hard fouls deter GSW from playing their game? They're going to spread you out and move the ball. They have 3 guys that shoot +85% from the foul line

They wondered the same about Harden. I see it though.

What if he just wants to stay.
It's what's best for all things except being a GSW fan.
All things? You sure? It's what's best for every single thing?
For the NBA? Yes. Klay? Yes. Advertisers? Yes. GSW? Probably not.

Did you really have to repeat, in question form, all of what I said as a way not to provide anything substantial? Yes.
Alright, here's something substantial for your petty, hypocritical response.

First off, you have a problem with people repeating, in question form, what someone else said... yet... you repeated, in question form, something I said from the jump:
Yeah, Klay is definitely not a main guy on a squad.

And I'm positive he gives less than zero dambs about that.

laugh.gif
You're positive? As in, 100% sure?
Pretty sure that's what positive means.

It was for clarities sake, my dude. It's silly to be 100% sure of something like that because you just can't "positively" know, unless you're Klay.
"You're positive? As in, 100% sure?" = the same cotdamn thing I did. Is it literally repeating everything I said? No, but I didn't literally repeat everything you said. Is it repeating in question form multiple times?

Yes. Yes it is.

Second, you're saying that a person cannot "positively" know something about someone else.

Interesting you would say that... and then this...
Klay is better than what people think. He knows his role right now, but that shouldn't discount what he can be. Most can't see that though, which they will if Klay ever leaves. No doubt.
WHOA, WHOA, WHOA!!! Are you Klay? How do you know he knows his role?

Are you most people? Or are you just one person?

Based on your interpretation of what you have drawn from, tou can THINK you know that Klay knows his role... just like I can THINK I know that he doesn't give a damn about not being a main guy. But as you were quick to correct: "It's silly to be 100% sure of something like that because you just can't "positively" know, unless you're Klay."

And you are not Klay, so cannot positively know.

And you are not most people, so you cannot positively speak for most people.

They're not going to get those foul calls. Pippen, Jordan, and Harper were literally able to steer people down the court and have them use up clock. It'd be much tougher to just get into their offense let alone execute it.

Maybe you should take a couple seconds and think before you hit submit
