idk if it's because i was a kid growing up and nostalgia takes over but those group of running backs during that time period just remind of fantasy football being at its best.

Also maybe because it was before what FF grew into what it is today playing a role.

I had so much damn fun as a kid buying fantasy magazines and studying all the numbers.

Now i just go off a vague feeling of already knowing who's gonna do what.

Probably because if you had one of the top RB's you usually won the league back in those days. It's way harder now and the NFL really is fantasy football.
