Does NickFolarin want to be a Lion fan again?

  • Yes, too bad he can't go back

  • No, he will wear his Bortles jersey with pride (but really shame)

Cyclically speaking, defense should be next, but I don't think the NFL lets that happen. The result might be where football goes to die?

i'm honestly concerned about the imminent lockout. wondering if we ever get thru it with all the **** that needs to be addressed and how much power needs to be re-balanced

If there is a lockout, the future of the game pretty much depends on it. From a players standpoint, guaranteed contracts and such would be awesome, but that might end up hurting the quality of the game in the long run. Many other things would have an impact, but if the players really are for real then it'll be interesting to see if they can get any compromises from the owners and what that eventually means for the long-term health of the game.

And now we're in the OBJ, Antonio Brown and Mike Evans era. So, WR's.

Yeah I was gonna say the same thing is happening its just shifted from RB's to WR's now. If OBJ/AB/Julio aren't going top 3 you're a dummy. And now Mike Evans will be the next guy. Hopkins might come back and be right there too. WR's should be top 5-7 picks basically.

I am a believer in the league being cyclical though. Didn't take that long to see a defense like the Seahawks come around and **** all over the idea that you cant defend WR's in a "pass heavy" league.

Now im wondering if with this upcoming crop of RB's entering the league and guys already in the league like Zeke, DJ, Gurley, Melvin that we could see a shift back to emphasis being put on running backs. You always hype people up in the draft and years pass to look back and see a bunch of busts but I really do have this feeling Fournette, McCaffrey, Cook, ect are all gonna hit in a big way. They join the group thats already in the league and there will be alot of very talented backs.

Oh, they're worried now?!

It's probably an excuse Jerry planted with the media so that they can "legitimize" to Texans' why they needed to sign Kaep.

The Seahawks changed the game and how defenses need to be built. Lots of teams have tried to duplicate, but most have been unsuccessful. It's usually that way with defense though. There's one all-time defense and the following years you see other defenses rise, but not quite to that level.

I'm intrigued by this seasons RB's as well. McCaffrey and Cook specifically. Still not sure on Fournette.

Mixon and Kareem Hunt might end up being the two best RB's in this draft...

Kamara and Perine have been looking real nice too.

I like Kamara with Brees.

AP probably goes off for 200 against the Vikings week 1, but after that, I'm curious to see how he looks.

That very well could be. This draft has serious potential to produce 4-5 stars. Even if McCaffrey busts one of those guys might come up instead.

If that happens, man go down the list

Bell
DJ
Freeman
Elliot
McCoy
Murray
Lynch again
Lacy was amazing last year FTR and probably will be at least good again this year
AP cant be counted out just yet
Gordon
Gurley
CJ Anderson probably
Lamar Miller? idk
Look at what Ajayi did last year
Look at what Jordan Howard did last year
Look at what Montgomery did last year
And Frank Gore is very under rated, heh

Now all these dudes wont stay healthy of course but in theory thats 17 teams that could have a reliable to great run game.

Then if you get 4-5 more studs from this draft added to that list its 2/3 of the league.
