Does NickFolarin want to be a Lion fan again?

  • Yes, too bad he can't go back

  • No, he will wear his Bortles jersey with pride (but really shame)

Again, no one really understands what the underlying issues may be. Maybe his family is hip to something, which is why they moved out to the DMV to be closer to him....not to mention, if you read the article I posted, he went AWOL at USC for a few days when he was enrolled there.

Ummm... I read the AWOL part in relation to the injury and whatnot. My point IS, why would you leave USC as a true junior, enter the NFL draft (knowing there's a possiblity you may have to move across the country), with homesickness and other issues weighing heavily on you?

I could see if he would have gave up football altogether and just chose to get his degree from USC. I still believe that at some point, you've got to be an adult. Period.

Could have just been giving things a try...but if your heart isn't in to it 100% OR if there is some underlying issue, things become more complex for the person involved directly.

You can still be an adult and be homesick, have a mental illness, anxiety, etc. Again, it's a simplistic way of looking at things by saying he essentially needs to grow up when no one really understands what he's going through.

Even with him going on the exempt list and given a month to think things over, I don't think there's really a chance that he suits up for the Skins again.

Not to mention that people make decisions (such as declaring for the NFL) for the sake of others who depend on them. I won't fault him for making an attempt and giving himself a chance. If pro ball isn't for him then so be it.

S'ua Cravens gotta leave the nest bruh. His parents should intervene and express to him that, a part of growing up is leaving your family. What's he going to do, live in their basement?

At some point, you've got to eventually leave home. He'll have a world of regret, if things don't pan out.

for Polynesian people family is everything, it's not uncommon for people to live with their families their whole life even when they have their own kids and so on.

I don't like the decision to have the website mobile-focused. I can appreciate that there are good reasons for it, but if it were feasible I'd prefer there to be an app for the site and then allow the site to retain features instead of cutting them.

I'm not sure how others use NT but being mobile-focused doesn't really make sense to me given the kind of message board it is. NT is heavily discussion based with a community that interacts on real personal level that fits better with the use of a desktop. When you're at home or work where you're "settled in". When i'm about and about with just my phone I check in to NT every once in a while. Maybe in a scenario where i'm stuck and really need to kill time. It's not that often. Usually when i'm out and about with just my phone is when I use social media like twitter for quick content or a message board app like Reddit, an extremely broad community that's heavily focused on media like pictures, videos, news, ect.

So yeah I don't get why they'd cater in favor of mobile rather than desktop. Then again I only look at like 3 threads total and 90% of time it's this one so there could be reasons i'm unaware of. Maybe others use mobile heavy rather than desktop. And maybe they have the numbers to support that.

Even though it's not exactly the same situation this Cravens talk got me thinking about Chris Borland. Dude was a beast man :smh::frown::

Yeah, Meth says the data shows the majority of users here are using their mobile devices. It sounded like it was a matter of having to choose the best route to address both platforms, but I feel we've lost good features on the way.

I also notice that the complaining people had about the desktop site has ended :lol only thing that sticks out in my mind is not being able to edit signatures still.

Yup

He basically like "listen I'm a wild boy and have done and may even continue to do dumb **** but I ain't do what y'all suspending me for"

No matter how this pans out son needs some intervention. You can't be Irvin or Taylor in this day and age.

Zeke was in there like "I choked and slapped the b**** during sex but other than that I'm innocent"

Pats really moving on from scrappy lunchpail WRs :smh:

The new WR's gon show him the handshakes and chest bumps. Brothas don't do headbutt like that.

If Boldin comes out of retirement after a week to play for the Pats, he a certified BA

It's not the team he's coming out for for me, it's the length of his retirement and the circumstances on which he left his last team

Looks like they're already selected, my bad

i selected them for you so i could set the draft order. hopefully i got the guys you wanted. i know 3 of 4 are least the guys you woulda probably picked :lol

apologies in advance if i goofed on any of them! :lol

the clips and mic'd up **** i saw from the sidelines to start the 2nd half sort of back up that statement. everyone was crazy composed and confident, but still. that statement just screams audacious :lol
