We were a RUNNING team. Literally 70:30 ratio. Aikman only played all 16 games twice. He was a game manager HOWEVER, he would’ve been prolific if we were pass first... Emmitt has 18,000+ career rushing yards, you think he gets to that much if Aikman passed more? Heck no

In all fairness, Marino consistently had seasons of 4,500 yards passing which is still good in today's game.
Doesnt change the fact that troy aikman never threw for more than 3,400 yards.
