Reading this, it seems to be that a lot of red flags pointed out here was due to fit/ lack of talent around Oak. How can you criticise his passing when there is no one to pass to? Even mentioning him as a "black hole" in the offence when in reality, there was no offensive system to work with. I do believe if he goes to another team with an actual system, he will be very effective and will improve his numbers across the board.
That being said, the team that does end up with him will get a bargain since his stock dipped so low and everyone knows we are desperate.
The biggest regret during Hinkies Era was drafting Oak over Porzingus.
The Sixers were VERY interested in him, but his camp did not even reply to HInkie's messages. Straight up ignored all his phone calls. That's why we did not draft him. And that's also a reason Hinkie should not be the face of the franchise, he is great with analytics but a bad people person, he did not have the respect or confidence of the GMs around the league.
Imagine if we did end up drafting him...we could have had a front court of:
Noel/ Embiid
Porzingus/ Saric
Simmons/ Covington
