Now you can read mines and guess what a person said when they clearly wrote something else?

**** this why do we even need words for?

LoL

****ing eyyy ...

What kind of horse **** is this?
You really are a weird dude. Type of person who argues with people just to argue

Here goes that word weird?

That dude that is crying about people not liking Lebron.

Argue just to argue?

Right .....

No one is arguing ... someone was wrong and someone was right. Plain and simple ...

Read the thread and you'll see when I have something to say and when I agree, you'll be surprised.

To me it is. My grandmother died during that series. She was a big Lebron fan. I watched game 7 at my grandmothers house. I legit cried like a baby when Lebron hugged Kevin Love. Felt like he won it for my grandmother.

This brought me back to that moment

*e-dap*

Dudes in here really put Lebron and greatest sports story in the same sentence... in a world with Muhammad Ali, Jackie Robinson, Mike Tyson, John Carlos/Tommie Smith, etc.

i think it depends on how you're defining things, really.. and what you want to factor in

obviously alot of what you named above had significant social impact

but bron winning THAT title, all things considered (down 3-1 with GS having 2 of the final 3 at home.. 73-9 team.. cant remember if they even lost 2 home games all season.. winning a title in his home team, especially when that home team is the cavs) is a great story.. not sure i'd put it as the greatest story thou

like the greatest aspect of phelps' accomplishment in '08 was jason lezak anchoring that relay and the circumstances and everything on the line for phelps (US team was a pretty clear underdog.. AND france who had a lead was anchoring with the world record holder in that event).. although winning the 100 fly by .01 was huge, but a clear 2nd in that whole thing

God damn just let it go. I enjoy when you go on those week or two week vacations from posting in this thread. ***** you are arguing about someone saying the Cavs winning a ship being the greatest sports moment. It was obviously hyperbole and his personal favorite moment.

Yo dawg how you really gonna argue that you don’t like to argue when you just spent 4 pages in an argument arguing about semantics?

The fact that is Lebron winning the championship is a joke in itself ....

Then you wonder why there are people like me.

Like Kyrie, Love, TT battling for rebound, etc weren't there.

I get it and I have no problem if it's his greatest story, but facts are there are better and more significant stories out there.

And if by any chance I had this as one of great, it certainly wouldnt be Lebron, but the Cavaliers coming from a 3-1 deficit.
Again words have meaning ... we cant assume we all can read minds.

I wasnt arguing with the original person but with a couple of people and second semantics would imply that both in essence meant the same **** when obviously the way it was worded didnt. But cool.

Fair point.

Just seems like people are quick to throw Lebron and the word Greatest together... I understand it’s the culture though

if isolated to just sports, that cavs team winning is a great story.. and i can see an argument being made for greatest ever, if you're limiting the scope of the discussion

in my lifetime, i consider the 3 biggest upsets in sports to be WITH the benefit of hindsight: THAT cavs team coming back from down 3-1, patriots coming back from down 28-3 with barely 2 mins left in the 3rd AND the US winning that 4 x 100 free relay in '08 with france diving in with the lead and the fastest guy in the world ever to that point in that race

all 3 of the above would be hard to believe if they were put into movies

LeBron is the greatest Athlete of all time
he cud bo jackson on the gridiron
he wud be barry bonds in beisbol
what can't he do???
He the serena of tennis
I mean c'mon bruh

Ironic that a Lebron fan is calling somebody weird. You know what's weird? Always bringing up Kobe every time your hero loses despite the man is already retired. Posting a triple double and losing by double digits. Losing by double digits and not playing defense. Playing in the league for 15 years and not having a decent jumpshot. Being the best in the league and nobody wanting to play with you.

at the end of the day, whether you root for him or want to see him fail, yall still going to wake up tomorrow and have the same life and personal problems and bronny going to be happy living his life

but seriously, what the **** is espn and fox going to air when the man retires? :lol

I cant argue with personal favorites and I didnt say that them coming back wasnt a great story.

I simply said it wasn't the greatest and honestly speaking just of top of my head

Miracle on Ice
Giants beating undefeated Patriots
RedSox vs Yankess, being down 3-0 and scoring on the greatest closer ever. are all worthy during your lifetime.

Lastly, my problem is not even consenting that it was a great story, but not the way worded and meant ... Lebron didnt come back to beat the Warriors, the Cavs did.

So, the NBA decided Smith's clearly dirty play is not worthy of punishment.

Does this mean the Celtics can hit LeBron in mid-air next game the first chance they get? Let's try it and find out.

Dudes seriously don't look in the mirror before they speak ... not just him but as bunch of these cats.

Like somehow that's going to stop me from saying what's really going on.
