do people REALLY think Lebron is the GOAT? I sometimes feel like people use GOAT as long as you're top 3-4 at your position. Like it doesnt really mean he's the #1 GOAT.

Maybe I'm too old and overthinking this one.
its like everything today. a hot take. people want to feel special so they magnify everything. they want to tell people they witnessed the goat. that they watched something special. not sure how the world ended up like that but its pretty hilarious

damn, thats junior year of high school for me.

One of my favorite takes to ever come from this thread is that Jordan is too great of a player to be in the goat conversation. Hopefully that answers your question

:rofl::rofl:

it was fantastic as a child. Play outside all day without thinking you'd get kidnapped. Play sports, eat dorritos and funions with big gulp for lunch, beat off to sears catelog, go play some more sports, come home, beat off to JC Penney catelog, dinner, video games and sleep. Rinse and repeat the next day.

It was glorious.

The word GOAT gets thrown around frequently. I don't even know what qualifies/quantifies that entitlement anymore.

IMO, I'd appreciate him more if he showed more compassion and accountability to his game, and the city he plays for. He's trying to become MORE ALPHA than he already is cuz he feels he can accomplish more and if he couldn't do it in Cleveland, he'll do it somewhere else. I'd be disappointed again if he leaves the city again because all the things he said prior to Coming Home would be all for naught, and if I was a fan, I'd be heated.

Again. He's 33-years-old and should be inspiring his teammates more rather than "unknowingly" prioritizing triple-doubles while losing by double digits. They'll be back in this series that's for sure. He just needs to "recalibrate."

Now is that GOAT? Idk. I'd probably be flamed for this but that's just my 2 cents. He's great though; generational talent, icon, etc.

Shoes has had some gems but man that one takes the cake

I don’t know , won’t that mean less minutes for Rozier and Tatum?
yes to Rozier but Tatum's minutes will go unchanged. He would be their 2nd best player for now.

I think its funny people calling to trade Kyrie just because Rozier and Smart are playing well. Get out of here. Rozier is good but he'll be on another team when this contract up. Somebody will throw $20M+ per at him.

Crazy part is this was actually the period in time where you SHOULDVE been worried about being kidnapped .

Decade of serial killers and abductors
ehhh, it was alot safer back then. Seems like there are more creeps these days or maybe i just notice it more because i actually watch the news now. My mom would let me play outside all day and never check on me. We were much more street smart back then vs. kids now.

Anyone that says Kyrie should be traded is a moron.

Still think Scary gets moved this offseason in some sort of package for a Horford successor.

Boston can probably just keep Rozier till next trade deadline, but sign a cheap big this offseason. You dont really need an elite big. Realistically unless you pair Rozier with another asset or two, you're not getting the bigs you might want.

After Horford's contract ends I can see him having a Bogut type Warriors role.

yeah, it has to happen. His value is at an all time high right now. Move him for a big. No brainer. It will hurt because he's become a fan favorite but it has to happen.
This team is obviously going to be built around Tatum and Kyrie. Tatum needs to be a Celtic for 15 years. I wonder if you guys will try to unload Hayward? Seems like it would be a good move if they can make it happen.
