I'm only discussing 2018 NBA Playoff Basketball from here on out, b.

What happened to the basketball talk???

Rockets have a -20 net rating with Harden on the bench. Theyre giving up runs as soon as Harden leaves the floor.

After they got CP, D’Antoni talked about having HOF point guard play for all 48 mins but Chris Paul doesn’t have a matchup advantage anywhere & he’s struggling. Steph gets Capela on the switch and he mixes, gets right to the rim and converts every time. He’s shooting 80% at the rim.

CP is the pnr king but all Kerr has to do is switch and CP can’t consistently do anything with Dray, Looney, Bell, or even Steph straight up.

So he’s at 13 assists in 3 games. Kerr is fully content with letting CP do whatever 1on1 so he’s not sending any help when CP has the ball.

Treating a legend like a role player and it’s a working

From a fan standpoint, it does kind of suck from a basketball perspective though. Morally or whatever, the move is totally legit and he's obviously reaping the benefits of playing in the bay on and off the floor,

but for us as basketball fans it kind of sucks. Not only did he make an already all time great team unstoppable, he took away one of the only real teams that could potentially dethrone them and in the process helped create an NBA that is hopeless to stop their reign due to the way the cap is constructed in the NBA. It is what it is.

Blame the GM's for handing out all those trash contracts 3-4 years ago. NBA consistently has the worst GM's in sports

Aight, Love and Kyrie were healthy in the two regular season games that year and in the first four games of that finals.

They were getting SMOKED. LBJ and Kyrie then went super saiyan along with guys from gsw getting injured / hurt. When the deck was even, they were getting smoked. That's a FACT

If you want to say GSW choked then sure, they did. But how does going up 3-1 in the finals on Lebron, after winning 73 games that season, after beating LBJ the previous season, equate to GSW now NEEDING KD? That makes no sense man, you better than this.

It’s absolutely criminal that he wasn’t first ballot. He was making 1st and 2nd all-nba teams when Duncan Garnett Shaq Dirk were all in the league.

It was the underlying potential problem all year for them.

They were going to have to go through the warriors to win the chip, and CP needed to morph into Kyrie to give them a legit shot. He outplayed steph in the first 2 games, (Which was more steph than CP) which gave them a chance, but they basically have no shot if steph is close to his normal self because despite the numbers in ISOs this year, you just knew this was going to be an issue for him and the rockets.

It was pretty obvious LeBron was hurt the first four games of those finals. Just wasn't moving the we're used to seeing him. No lift, no lateral movement. I didn't see him get 100% until game 5.
