In the beginning of series, books usually hang a total that's pretty high. Fresher legs, teams haven't scouted each other. For example, Rox/GS game 1 total was like 225 or 226.

The deeper you go into a series, the more teams can scout you and make adjustments + tired legs. Game 6, the Rox/GS total was around 214. That's a 10 point drop.

Happens nearly every playoff series that goes beyond 5, especially the later you go into the postseason.

Basically.. if you're going to take the over, do it earlier in the series. Unders are generally more profitable if the series goes longer than 5
