Yea I don’t think too many passed on the Bordeaux either. That was one of the most anticipated retros along with the Concords that year.

I passed. Never been a fan of that colorway.

Passed on Bordeax atrocities as well, lol. Basically I dipped out of retros period from like 2006 until remaster.. and spent my time tracking down unicorn ds boxed original virgin Nike's. Which having grail OG in hand only compounded my distaste for bad retros of the era. Dark times lol

2011 had thin oddly shaped tongue, Banana shape, and Ashy nubuck. 2011 Met 5, 2011 Bordeaux 7, and 2011 Concord were the easiest passes back then.

True. I passed on all of them except for Concords. The 2011 Concord's are trash though. Got rid of them.

I'm not sure many people were passing on the 2011 Bordeaux , though there were complaints people waited for them since 92 anyway. I bought a pair off fnl and was in that thread discussing the pattern of the tongue . Green to yellow. Easy to buy back then, it didn't sell so quickly.

2016 Bordeaux are fire. Minus that toe bump that some pairs have. That’s also fixable

Bruh! Dark times indeed. That era was crazy (late 2011-2015).

I mostly rocked with Kobe and Bron. I already know I had no shot at getting any Jordan retros that were somewhat close to the OG, but in hindsight it was a blessing disguise.

Now the past 2-3 years it’s been the reverse.

I went HAM and piled up a bunch of completely awesome, yet equally unwearable original Jordans during that period, so its nice to get retribution and be able to purchase and wear retros of those old Jordans once again without hating them lol. These infrareds are just a well done retro, any way ya cut it!

I feel the same way. Bro it’s an amazing time right now for Jordan brand and it’s consumers. Everyone is eating, no b.s. stipulations prior to release days. I sold off all my Nike basketball gems from that era to fund my JB purchases. No regrets.
