Bumpity bumping this mostly dead thread again. 
I saw the idea of drawing/painting on the rand lines of the durabuck to give that '99 look to the black cement 4's and liked it a lot so I figured why not do it to the black infrareds as well. Probably gonna be a few (or a lot ) naysayers and that's cool, but do understand I love this release and have no intention of doing anything else to these. Just thought contrasting rand lines would look good on these since the '91 release had em due to the exposed raw edges of the durabuck I believe. Decided to do both pairs though the last photo isn't a very good one. However I used a simple crayola white colored pencil so I can easily remove it if need be. The rand lines can only be seen well at certain angles in certain lighting so it's not a constant, unnatural white or anything.
