Lace lock* on that first lace is an NYC must.. especially during that 2000's drop.

I honestly don’t like the way the laces look when the lock is on top, the laces look too bunches up on top of the lock.

Not mine but this is what I’m talking about, this is how at first I used to lace mine up and I didn’t like the look because they look to bunched up.

Also not my pic but I also tried this… but the look was also not for me and I was always fixing the lace lock and pulling the laces which kind of a hassle and defeats the purpose of a lace lock.

Not mine as well but this one is cool, but it looks like you can lose the lace lock kind of easily with this set up…

So after trying all kinds of set up with the lace lock (I even had em off for a little bit which is also pretty nice) I decided to put them in the first lace loop.

I also do the same with Jordan 5s… I take em things off sometimes because they create that bunched up laces look.

I put my laces and toggle inside the lace pocket for my first pair of these. My other 6s, I just pull the laces through the toggle.

On my '14s I used to tie my laces and tuck them fully into the lace cover. Did MJ ever wear them that way? Really looked slick, but was kind of a pain, so on my '19s I don't bother. Since '91, lace locks from 5s and 6s ALWAYS remained in the box. Actually, come to think of it, I think I just tossed them in the garbage in '91...heh.
