Who the **** is that and do you think he knows what he’s doing

Kevin Stefanski. Been with the team since '06. Giants wanted him to interview for OC, but the Vikings blocked it because they wanted to retain him. He will do just fine and Vikings probably see immediate improvement.

I think my question is if the guy was in line for an OC gig, why did the Vikings hire Flip?

They kept Stefanski because he was to be their next OC when DeFelippo presumably would leave for another job after 1 season. In hindsight, Stefanski was the one they should've made the OC from the get go. But I think that's why the Vikings were able to make this decision with 3 regular season games left.

Probably thought Flip was only a one year thing and then he'd go on to be a HC somewhere. Then planned to give Stefanski the job once flip left

Zimmer had mentioned something about loyalty before the season too. He said when he got here, the offense was near the bottom of the league and he didn't fire a guy like Stefanski. So when they became good on offense, he said he blocked him because why would he let everyone just go somewhere else when they finally got the offense to a good place and he showed loyalty by sticking with some of these guys when he could have fired them and now they should return the favor and stick with the Vikings and wait their opportunity.

That's what I read as well earlier. Flip stock surely has to go down for any potential HC gigs heading into the offseason. He'll get hired still IMO, unless he ends up back in Philly.

This John DeFilippo situation is funny. Eagles fans think bringing him back is a sure fire solution to our offensive struggles. Vikings fans think firing him was the sure fire solution to their offensive struggles. I personally don't think either fanbase is correct.

Carr been straight balling for 8 weeks with bottom tier receivers and weak tackles on both sides of the line.

It probably doesnt help that his best receiver was traded and became the leader in total receiving yards after he was traded

I think we should take a second to think about how the browns actually drafted a QB and it’s actually working. The curse is being broken.

Only time will tell before we say anything for sure but this already the best they’ve done at the QB position in 2+ decades.

I’m confident Mayfield is who we think he is though. He’s a stud.

Let’s not forget said player didn’t want to be in Oakland and consistently dropped passes. I’d make the trade again today if it purposed itself knowing how it all turned out.

this adds to it, but i remember pre-draft Baker was asked about the Browns and what if they draft him. his response was something like, "they should if they want to turn things around in CLE"
