if the suns can sign jerami grant with the available cap space then there's no way they took a step back. chris paul + jerami >>>>> rubio + oubre. plus CP should do a lot for ayton. I think it was a great move for them considering they aren't going to be able to sign any marquee players in FA. You have to take a chance on something like this to start winning games now with booker. don't forget monty was the coach in NO with CP back in the day so they have a history of working together.

Hmm the Suns decided to execute the Chris Paul trade now instead of waiting until next week. So no cap space for them to spend on a free agent, just the MLE and Bird Rights to their free agents (Baynes and Saric).
