Suns went a step back with that trade. They waste 2017-2019 and the team finally started Gel and they break it up. Oubre was redemption for them drafting Josh Jackson and they traded TJ warren for a printer.

The not shooting narrative is fair. But it has dominated the fact that he does so many other things really well. He is one of the best defenders in the league. Simmons alone is better than the Nets package.

Okeke was considered to be a lottery pick in the draft, but after suffering an ACL injury in the 2019 NCAA Tournament, he fell to the 16th selection by the Magic, and was referred to by ESPN analyst, Mike Schmitz as the "steal of the draft."[7]

During his rehab, Okeke signed a one-year G League contract with the Magic's affiliate in Lakeland with the intent of starting his rookie-scale contract in 2020. At the time, the Magic faced a salary cap crunch that prevented them from adding Okeke's rookie salary to their books. [8] He reported to Lakeland's training camp as a draft rights player on October 28, 2019.[9] Okeke was signed to his rookie contract on November 16, 2020.

They drafted him with a lil wink wink deal ...Pay him under the table/D league to rehab his injury and Orlando kept the salary off the books ...N I hated all of it

Same thing as when OKC drafted Heustis in the 1st round outta nowhere

Based on his time with the Clippers, I personally think Bradley’s defense is a little overrated. He definitely had his moments of spectacular lock-down defense, but more of the time he was average or just a bit above. Not good enough on D all the time to cancel our his penchant foe bricking long 2s on offense.
