2020-21 NBA Offseason thread: Officially a wrap

The power of Lebron's recruiting power is two fold. He has connections through agents that will work together to ensure his current teammates can get good deals, and they work together to move guys to his team.

Second reason is he will almost always bring you to the finals and the value of a finals contributor is big. So you may take a $4-5 mil pay cut to play 1 year with Bron, but he makes you look like a winner and now your next deal is for longer time and more annually.

I wonder how good Bron will be at team building when he's not building around himself. Having a top 5 all time player as the foundation makes team building a lot easier.

But at that point he'll probably be shadow commissioner of the league through Klutch so he'll be able to get whatever and whoever he wants

That goes to my point earlier. To think he builds great teams is not exactly accurate. He can win with pretty much anyone in today’s NBA.

Hail Klutch

I hope you’re wrong because then I also have to be pissed at Doc for giving Joakim 0.0 minutes in the bubble playoffs.
joakim played well for memphis when he had minutes the yr prior. even though those were meaningless gms, he showed he still had something left. the time off allowed him to get back in playing shape when he signed with the clips. jokic probably cooks him as well, but who knows if it's any worse than trez

Even KD? :nerd: Everybody seems to hate him the most for that  :smh:

only weirdos refuse to let that go. folks finna go to their grave carrying that hate

i remember my facebook timeline the day KD published his players tribune article. i could tell some dudes were posting status updates with tears pouring down, while screaming "unfair" and "snake!":rofl: i dont even care about 4th of july but KD made that day glorious

watching marc gasol run is painful. it's fitting that he plays on a team with a dinosaur mascot.

I know Jeff Teague is washed, but is he still capable of doing whatever Brad Wanamaker did?
Wanamaker better at this point cuz of his size and ability to get in the paint from time to time...Teague just mostly bricks 3’s these days and rarely makes plays for others, one of the recent Celtics draft picks at guard should take his mins soon enough if they have any type of game

How much juice Gasol got left tho? All I heard from this past season was how washed he is
He can still defend at a high level. They would’ve advanced against Denver if they had him. He can slow down any 5 besides AD. He held Embiid to literally zero points in a game last year.

But after Kawhi left, Raps really needed scoring in the playoffs which highlighted how far Gasol had declined in that aspect.
