2020-21 NBA Offseason thread: Officially a wrap

If there was just one team that I would like to see Jim Harden play for other than my 🚀 would have to be my Dubz. San Francisco is an awful town from a political perspective. Jim would help tackle the sagging economy by supporting local gentleman's clubs and brothels. He would also bring law and order to a city that doesn't respect law enforcement. He could also show Riley's dad what his harmful liberal conjecture and innuendo and lack of support for STILL OUR PRESIDENT ELECT has caused.

Delon was basically worthless for them last year. If Tyrell Terry can hit a wide open 3 from time to time, the duo of him and Richardson is going to be flat out better than Delon/Curry. The additions of Johnson/Iwundu/Josh Green give them a lot more options on the wings that can defend.

Brunson being back gives you another high IQ ball handler, and Josh Richardson has more playmaking ability than what was displayed in the Philly trainwreck.

Dallas most definitely improved.
Delon was stuck in a numbers game but I don't think he was worthless at all. Strong characterization. He had improved efficiency from the previous year, was one of their only few respectable guard defenders and was contributing to wins

Either way the writing was always on the wall with Luka's quick ascension that there were going to be changes. It didn't make it any easier for me to see them both go in the same off season

Donnie has been making sound choices since Luka came I'm not criticizing his process more so sad to see my guys getting moved

Ehh I guess you're just a lot higher on him than me. Dude averaged 4/1/2 in 13 MPG in the playoff series on a banged up team that could've really used more production from him. Just seems like an everyday backup guard to me. Production and defense easily replaced by the guys brought in.

Noon ET will be when free agents can sign. We'll probably get a flurry of signings in the next hour or two.

He was garbage during The Bubble and lost his spot to Trey Iverson. No way around that

I'm not debating the changes, again it was a visceral reaction from me more than anything

Without making any further moves, I really do think the Warriors are going to struggle to make the playoffs, let alone make the 2nd round. Other teams in the West simply have more talent and continuity. I think these 6 are for sure going to be better barring injuries-

Lakers
Clippers
Nuggets
Mavericks
Jazz
Blazers

Until any trades are made, I'd put Houston in there too despite their issues. Think the Suns are better as well. That's 8.

Even with Klay I felt like it was a lil murky

Then again I doubted the Lakers coming into last season

Grizz should compete and Spurs are roaches

Has there ever been a high usage Steph season? The warriors are gonna need that plus all those minutes hes gonna have to playS

now if only someone would take pandemic p out of the picture itd be reeeeel niiiiiiiiice

maybe a lower tier team will offer a 40 and a jawbreaker

DEAL !

Steph should be able to elevate guys like oubre and wiggins. I mean that's the whole point of having gravity isn't it? Those two aren't elite but you could do a lot worse when you're tryna replace Klay and Barnes. If Dray really is washed it's gonna be a long year but I don't think he's cooked yet and should look a lot better back in his role of standing at the top of the key waiting for Steph to run around screens. He's a system player and there was nothing for him to work with last year

Curry is going to need an MVP caliber season with high minutes and high usage and Wiggins and Oubre are going to need to be legitimately good. Just to make the playoffs. I dunno man.
