We can only hope! They've improved shape of the 3s and 5s...some would say they're trending in the right direction!

Most of my tastes in sneakers have remained the same for 30 years ... but back when these originally released in '91 when I was in 10th grade, I thought they were hideous. Now, I think they're sick, and I usually hate red shoes. Definitely in for a pair.

Lol. I gotta say they’ve definitely never been my faves either. May grab a pair for the NA collection but I’ll never get super excited about a Carmine release.

Maroons are the ugliest OG colorway.

Maroons are clean.

To me, it's the color blocking of the Carmines that looks terrible. The opposite of clean. It's simply due to the way VI's are paneled. Carmine red is a beautiful color.

Carmines are overrated but what I like about them is the Nike Air isn’t blending in like the others. I always wished the Nike Air was the infrared color instead of black on the infrareds. One of the few things I wish the retros would do differently than the OG. Would see it as an aesthetic improvement.
