They got too cute.

The music has stopped and there aren't anymore open chairs.
 
I think this was the only time we ever saw Mariota with significant playing time. They got in the red zone in OT, and settled for the FG, which basically sums up the Gruden 2.0 era for the Raiders.

Still, Marcus had some nice plays here:

Mariota back with Arthur Smith hmm interesting. Smith knows what he can do but also wouldn't even really let him play at times. He had no picks on the season when he was benched. His upside and knack to at times rise to the occasion leaves me optimistic he can still be a solid starter. Let's see if they can get it right this time.
